Man took out a knife, threatened woman at a Boston laundromat, police say
Boston police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man suspected of pulling out a knife and threatening a woman with it at a laundromat in Dorchester on June 3.
At around 10:40 a.m. that day, a woman stepped outside the laundromat located at 471 Blue Hill Ave., according to a statement from the Boston Police Department. That address corresponds with the one for Laundry King.
She went back inside to find a man going through her laundry basket, police said. She tried to confront him, but the man took out a knife and threatened her.
The man is described as being 5 feet, 7 inches tall with a slim build and short black hair, according to police. He wore a black t-shirt and blue jeans, with tattoos visible on both of his forearms.
Police requested that anyone with information call detectives at 617-343-4275. People can also text a tip to the CrimeStoppers Tip Line, either by calling 1-800-494-TIPS or texting the word 'TIP' to CRIME.
