Jared Leto Faces Sexual Misconduct Allegations From Several Women
Actor Jared Leto has been a Hollywood celebrity for decades. With so many notable roles under his belt, including several divisive endeavors including the Joker in Suicide Squad and the titular character in Morbius , he has become a household name. Now Jared Leto is facing sexual misconduct allegations from several different women. The allegations were shared by a total of nine women via Air Mail. The outlet not only alleges that these nine women were treated inappropriately by Leto, but that he also made advances towards some of them when they were minors. Ages of the women during these alleged encounters were said to be 16 and 17. 'It's been an open secret for a long time,' one of the women stated while remaining anonymous. The outlet includes such allegations as a woman saying she was asked sexual questions by Leto at 16-years-old, another woman saying he walked out of a room nude in front of her when she was 17-years-old, and that he exposed himself and masturbated before placing an 18-year-old girl's hand 'on him.' In response to the claims, a representative for Leto 'expressly' denied them. They responded to some of the specific allegations made by model Laura La Rue, who would have been 16 in 2008, who also claims to have met Leto at an animal rights benefit before connecting via email and eventually she met him at his studio in April 2009. There she says he was 'flirting' with her. Leto's representative insisted that their 'communications contain nothing sexual or inappropriate' and that La Rue 'later applied to work as Mr. Leto's personal assistant, further underscoring the absence of anything inappropriate in any of their interactions.' Meanwhile, La Rue denies ever applying for that position and alleges that she was the 17-year-old who saw him walk out of a room nude 'like it was normal.' She added: 'I thought maybe this was just what adult men do.' Another woman claimed to have received a phone call from the Tron: Ares actor when she was 16 in 2008, having given him her number after he approached her at Urth Caffé in Los Angeles, and that he eventually called her with the 'weirdest, grossest voice.' She claims to not 'know if he was on drugs.' In response, Leto's representative responded to say that Leto 'has not had a drink or used drugs in over 35 years.' The woman further elaborated how the alleged phone calls from Leto continued for the next three weeks, with her mother claiming to have also overheard one of the calls. Here's what the woman said: 'And the conversations turned sexual,' she claimed. 'He'd ask things like, 'Have you ever had a boyfriend? Have you ever sucked a d—?' ' She added: 'He changed — his voice, the way he talked. It scared me. That was the first time I thought, 'Oh my God, that's not just in movies.' ' Leto's representative continued to deny these allegations, with Nightlife promoter Brent Bolthouse also claiming that he never saw skinny-dipping at Leto's house, a location that one of the allegations referenced as having a party with girls younger than 18 that were being motivated to skinny dip. As such, we'll have to see how this situation continues to develop. For now, Leto's representatives are adamant about their denials. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates regarding Jared Leto and the sexual misconduct allegations as we have them.

Jared Leto's rep denies sexual misconduct allegations made against the actor-singer
A representative for American actor-musician, Jared Leto, has denied allegations of sexual misconduct following a report on Saturday (Jun 7) on US-based publication AirMail where nine women accused the Suicide Squad actor of inappropriate behaviour, some of which took place when the accusers were underaged. One anonymous woman, a model and music producer, said in 2006, when she was 16, Leto approached her at a cafe in Los Angeles and grabbed her arm. At the time, he was seated with actress Ashley Olsen, 19, whom he was rumoured to be dating. 'I looked down and it was Jared Leto,' the woman said. 'We had a quick conversation, and he got my number.' She added that a few days later, Leto called her home in the middle of the night and invited her to a party he was hosting at his house. She said the calls kept coming in over the next three weeks 'always at 1, 2, 3am", even though she had declined the invite. She said the conversations "turned sexual". Former model Laura La Rue, 33, also recounted a similar encounter with Leto in 2008, when she was 16 as well. She shared with Airmail that she met Leto at an animal rights benefit held at a private residence in Beverly Hills, where he was 'watching her so intensely'. At that time, Leto was 36. He is now 53. Rue added that on a separate visit, Leto walked out of a room completely naked. In response, Leto's representative denied La Rue's claims, stating: 'Their communications contain nothing sexual or inappropriate and Ms La Rue later applied to work as Mr Leto's personal assistant, further underscoring the absence of anything inappropriate in any of their interactions.' La Rue, however, has denied applying for said position. In response to the AirMail report, Leto's representative has stated that 'all of the allegations are expressly denied". The actor himself has not publicly responded.

‘Sex pest' Jared Leto denies claims of lewd behaviour made against him by 9 women
Nine women have accused actor and singer Jared Leto of inappropriate behaviour. The women allege that his behaviour is 'predatory, terrifying and unacceptable', according to an expose by Air Mail. Jared (53) is accused of engaging in inappropriate behaviour over the years, including flirting with teenagers. One of his alleged victims was just 16 years old when Jared allegedly approached her and grabbed her by the arm while she was outside a café in Los Angeles. 'We had a quick conversation, and he got my number,' she said. She added that Jared called her home a few days later, recalling: 'I don't know if he was on drugs or what . . . It was the weirdest, grossest voice . . . [But] for me, it's Jared, you know?' She said that Jared told her he was hosting a party at his house that evening and invited her to it. The woman declined, saying, 'I didn't even have a driver's licence.' Nevertheless, she said, Jared kept calling her, 'always at one, two, three AM'. And the conversations turned sexual. 'He'd ask things like: 'Have you ever had a boyfriend? Have you ever sucked a d***?'' she told the publication. They started texting and she would visit his studio. Laura claims Jared once walked into a room nude 'like it was normal' when she was 17. 'I thought maybe this was just what adult men do,' she said. Another victim, who was underage when she first started chatting to Jared, alleged that he would ask inappropriate questions when she'd go to his house, such as, 'Do any of the little boys you hang out with f*** you?' She said that when she turned 18, the actor masturbated in front of her at his house and forced her to touch him. This is not the first time Jared has faced accusations of inappropriate behaviour. In 2012, Los Angeles-based DJ Allie Teilz wrote about her encounter with him on Facebook, saying, 'You're not really in LA until Jared Leto tries to force himself on you backstage . . . In a kilt. And a snow hat.' The DJ recently wrote on her Instagram stories, 'I was assaulted and traumatised by this creep when I was 17 . . . He knew my age and didn't care. What he did was predatory, terrifying and unacceptable.' The actor has denied the accusations against him, and insists Allie was lying. He added that nothing about his conversation with Laura was inappropriate, and a spokesperson's statement said that 'Ms La Rue later applied to work as Mr Leto's personal assistant, further underscoring the absence of anything inappropriate in any of their interactions. All of the allegations are expressly denied.'

Jared Leto denies sexual misconduct after facing accusations from multiple women
Jared Leto has been accused of sexual misconduct by nine women in a lengthy exposé published by Air Mail on Friday. A representative for Leto has denied the accusations. Allegations against the Thirty Seconds to Mars singer, 53, resurfaced last month when Los Angeles DJ Allie Teilz reshared a Facebook post she made in 2012 on her Instagram Story. 'Youre [sic] not really in L.A. until Jared Leto tries to force himself on you backstage… In a kilt.. And a snow hat. I was assaulted and traumatized by this creep when I was 17,' she wrote. 'I was assaulted and traumatized by this creep when I was 17,' she wrote in another Story. 'He knew my age and didn't care. What he did was predatory, terrifying and unacceptable.' The Independent has contacted Leto's representatives for comment. One of the women in the Air Mail article claims, 'it's been an open secret for a long time' that Leto is known for texting teenage models. Another said she was 16 when Leto approached her and got her number in 2006. She says the actor began calling her in the middle of the night and making sexual remarks. In response, a representative for the star said that Leto has been sober for more than 35 years after the accuser speculated that he was on drugs during the calls. Leto 'has not had a drink or used drugs in over 35 years,' said the spokesperson. Laura La Rue, a model who was also 16 when she said she met Leto, claimed she had a similar interaction after Leto invited her to visit him in his music studio. 'Their communications contain nothing sexual or inappropriate,' Leto's representative told Air Mail, 'and Ms. La Rue later applied to work as Mr. Leto's personal assistant, further underscoring the absence of anything inappropriate in any of their interactions.' La Rue reportedly denied ever applying to work as Leto's personal assistant. A fourth woman, who said she began a texting relationship with Leto when she was still underage, said his advances ramped up when she turned 18. She claims that during a subsequent visit to Leto's house, he began masturbating in front of her. 'All of the allegations are expressly denied,' Leto's representative said in response. Leto rose to fame in the 1990s as Jordan Catalano on the cult TV series My So-Called Life before earning critical acclaim for transformative roles in Requiem for a Dream (2000), Dallas Buyers Club (2013), and Suicide Squad (2016). Alongside his acting career, he co-founded Thirty Seconds to Mars in 1998, achieving global success with hits like 'The Kill (Bury Me)' and 'Kings and Queens.' Over the years, Leto has become well known for his commitment to method acting. For his role as the Joker in Suicide Squad, he insisted on being addressed as 'Mister J' and told E! that he tried to 'create an element of spontaneity' on the set by sending strange presents such as 'used condoms' and 'anal beads' to the cast, which included Cara Delavigne and Margot Robbie. However, he later said he was just joking when he made the claims publicly in 2016. '99.9 per cent of what people read is bulls***. There were no used condoms,' he said. In 2018, Metro reported on a Twitter post by The Suite Life of Zack & Cody star Dylan Sprouse that read: 'Yo @JaredLeto now that you've slid into the DMs of every female model aged 18–25, what would you say your success rate is?' Sprouse, 32, is married to 31-year-old Hungarian model Barbara Palvin. Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn replied to Sprouse's tweet, saying: 'He starts at 18 on the internet?'
