Costco Shoppers Are Elated That This Beloved Snack From Southwest Airlines Is Now Available at the Warehouse
If you've ever flown on Southwest Airlines then you can probably recall waiting anxiously for the arrival of the food and drink cart, so you could get your hands on one snack in particular. The savory snack that has won the hearts of frequent fliers across the country is the Stellar Pretzel Braids Maui Monk. And if you're a fan, you're in luck because the pretzels were recently spotted at Costco. In a video shared by Laura Lamb of @costcohotfinds, she revealed that you can find a 2-pound bag of the pretzels at Costco. Related: "I almost couldn't believe it when I saw this, but I spotted the Maui Monk Pretzel Braids at Costco. I don't know if you've ever tried these, but they're basically the best pretzels ever. They're savory, but sweet at the same time. And this 2-pound bag is amazing," she said in her video. Fans are also having a hard time believing that the iconic airline snack is now available at Costco. "Omg had these on a flight and have been looking for them ever sense," one person wrote. "These pretzels are amazing and I just got the new cinnamon flavor. When they pull these out on the flights I'm like yesssss I will be taking a snack today maam," another user added. Costco's Latest Deli Item Has Fans Seriously Scratching Their Heads—Shoppers Say It 'Tastes Awful'
With the arrival of the warmer months, potato salad is a dish you're sure to see at backyard barbeques, pool parties, picnics and other seasonal gatherings. Despite the immense popularity of this dish, a new type of potato salad available at Costco has dedicated shoppers seeing red. In a post shared on Instagram, Laura Lamb of @costcohotfinds shared with fans that she recently spotted Loaded Potato Salad in the warehouse's deli. Related: "There's a new Loaded Potato Salad in the Costco deli in a two-and-a-half pound container. It's made with Russet and roasted potatoes and topped with bacon crumbles and cheddar cheese. This one was creamy and delicious," she revealed in her video. To create that creamy base, both sour cream and mayonnaise is used for the Loaded Potato Salad. Although the zesty dish combines two fan-faves—loaded potato salad and mashed potatoes—many shoppers were left scratching their heads. Some were unsure of whether or not it should be eaten cold. Others were taken aback by the cheese on top remaining unmelted. "I putting that bad boy in the oven," said one Costco shopper-turned-potato salad rebel. Hate potato salad with veggies in it," one of them wrote. And then, there were the not-so-favorable reviews from those who have tried the new side dish. It's officially salad season! Now is the time to break out the broccoli, arugula, cucumbers and other fresh greens to craft delicious summers salads that'll pair well with grilled chicken, hamburgers and other seasonal dishes. But if you're short on time and need a quick salad for your next BBQ, picnic or pool party, Costco has got you covered. According to fans of the warehouse, the Costco deli is currently selling an all-new Broccoli Poppyseed Salad. Laura Lamb of @costcohotfinds was one of the first to spot the salad. Related: "There's a new crunchy broccoli salad with poppyseed in the Costco deli section. And this one is so, so good. It's made with broccoli, kale, cabbage, Asiago cheese, dried cranberries. And comes with walnuts and two packets of poppyseed dressing," she explained in her video. Although the Broccoli Poppyseed Salad was just spotted at Costco, shoppers are already calling it the "PERFECT side for BBQ!!!" Others are just eager to get their hands on the new side dish for their next gathering. "Picking this up today!! Can't wait to try it!!" read one comment on Instagram. "This salad is amazing! Costco is truly shaping up to be a one-stop-shop for all your summer needs this year. Their current selection of summer essentials includes everything from a backyard bar shed that fans are "daydreaming" about to a swinging hammock chair that's perfect for lounging around in. And now, the warehouse has unveiled yet another seasonal must-have.
