Sheriff: Woman in US illegally had fake ID with dead person's Social Security number
ASHLAND, Ohio (WJW) — Ashland County sheriff's deputies said two people, whom they described as illegal immigrants from Honduras, were held in jail following a crash near Pleasant Hill Lake.
One provided an identification card with the Social Security number of a deceased U.S. citizen.

Edwin Lazzsano was arrested on misdemeanor charges after deputies say he resisted arrest and obstructed official business, following a March 4 crash on Township Road 2916. Reports from Ashland County Sheriff deputies said Lazzsano was not cooperative and struggled with deputies as they tried to handcuff him.
'He was here illegally,' said Ashland County Sheriff Kurt Schneider. 'In fact, he admitted to that.'
The sheriff's deputies said they towed the vehicle and a few days later a woman, Karla Hernandez, came to the department trying to get the car. The sheriff said she provided deputies with a fake ID.
'Yeah, we are still looking into some of those details but we believe that Social Security number belonged to a deceased United States citizen,' the sheriff said. 'So we are still looking into how that happened.'
The sheriff said Hernandez told deputies she got the ID after meeting a man at a grocery store.

Both Lazzsano and Hernandez are from Honduras, the sheriff said.
Agents with U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement picked up Lazzsano and Hernandez and transported them to a holding facility. The sheriff did not know where the two were taken.
