Lebanon arranges repatriation flights for citizens stranded in Sharm el-Sheikh
The Lebanese Civil Aviation Authority said it has coordinated with the relevant airline and Lebanese travel agency to assist Lebanese citizens stranded in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. In a statement, the authority said the airline submitted an urgent request to operate repatriation flights via a Romanian carrier, with a flight schedule set to begin Monday morning. Preliminary approval has been granted, and the airline has been asked to begin necessary procedures to ensure the passengers are brought home as soon as possible.

Lebanon to temporarily reopen airspace on Saturday
14 June 2025 11:55 CAIRO (REUTERS)Lebanon said it will temporarily reopen its airspace on Saturday at 10:00am (0700 GMT), the state news agency NNA said. The airspace will be shut down again starting from 10:30pm (1930 GMT) till 6:00am (0300 GMT) on Sunday, NNA reported citing the Lebanese Civil Aviation Authority.

Lebanon reopens airspace temporarily, plans overnight closure
Lebanon has announced it will reopen its airspace at 10am (0700 GMT) on Saturday, according to the state-run National News Agency (NNA). Citing the Lebanese Civil Aviation Authority, NNA reported the airspace will close again from 10:30pm (1930 GMT) until 6am (0300 GMT) on Sunday, following Israel's surprise attack on Iran.
