Man in court after car driven wrong way on M1 in West Yorkshire
A man has been remanded in custody ahead of sentencing after a car was allegedly driven the wrong way on the Malik, of Church Road, Altofts, pleaded guilty to driving without insurance and failing to provide a specimen when he appeared at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Monday. The 34-year-old also indicated he would plead guilty to dangerous driving and possession of Class A drugs when he is sentenced at Leeds Crown Court on 11 was arrested on Friday following a police pursuit from Altofts to Stanley, back to Altofts and then the M62 and against the flow of traffic on the M1 northbound.
