14-year-old girl struck by vehicle, severely injured at Lehi Rodeo grounds
LEHI, Utah (ABC4) — A 14-year-old girl was airlifted to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Lehi Friday night, according to Lehi police. Police said she suffered severe head trauma in the accident. Just before 11:15 p.m. on May 30, police received 'several calls' regarding an accident in the area of 500 West and 100 North, in front of the Lehi Rodeo grounds. A multi-stake dance was reportedly being held at the Rodeo grounds, and as youth were leaving the dance, a 14-year-old girl was hit by a vehicle heading south on 500 West. Witnesses and officers rendered aid until paramedics arrived, police said. The girl was then taken by ambulance to a local hospital before being Life-Flighted to a hospital in Salt Lake City. She reportedly suffered severe head trauma in the accident. Police said her current medical condition is unknown at this time. The driver involved in the incident cooperated with Lehi police. The investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been filed at this time. No further information is currently available. One seriously injured in Lehi cement truck crash, road closed
LEHI, Utah (ABC4) — One person was seriously injured in a crash involving a cement truck in Lehi on Friday, according to Lehi Police. At around 11:45 a.m. on May 23, police responded to a multi-vehicle crash near the intersection of Mill Pond Rd. and Pioneer Crossing. Initial information from the scene indicates that a cement truck struck a diesel vehicle, which then collided with an SUV heading in the opposite direction. The driver of the SUV sustained 'serious, but stable' injuries in the crash and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Northbound Mill Pond Rd. is currently closed as crews work to clear the area. Drivers are asked to avoid the area and seek alternative routes. Lehi Fire and Utah Highway Patrol are assisting at the scene. The cause of the accident is under investigation at this time. No further information is currently available. Lehi Police identify deceased individual found near railroad tracks
LEHI, Utah (ABC4) — Lehi Police have identified a deceased individual found near the railroad tracks at the Pioneer Crossing underpass Thursday evening. The deceased has been identified as Dena Beal, 45, of Lehi. At around 6 p.m. on May 22, Beal was reportedly found dead near the railroad tracks in the area of 850 E and the Pioneer Crossing underpass. While the investigation remains ongoing as the department awaits the results of the autopsy and toxicology reports, no foul play is suspected at this time. The circumstances surrounding Beal's death have not been released. 'The Lehi Police Department extends its deepest condolences to Ms. Beal's family and friends during this difficult time,' a press release from Lehi Police states. Beal's next of kin have been notified. No further information is currently available. Registered sex offender arrested on 22 new charges related to child pornography, sexual abuse

LEHI, Utah () — A previously convicted sex offender was arrested earlier this month and is facing more than 20 felony charges, according to court documents. Ryan Kay Limb, 60, is facing 10 counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, all first-degree felonies; two counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, both first-degree felonies; and 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, all second-degree felonies. According to the , Limb was convicted of other sexual crimes against children in August 2005 and was released from custody in July 2013. On March 16, the posted on to say that detectives with its Special Victims Unit had recently arrested a registered sex offender on more than 20 charges. While Lehi Police did not provide the name of the individual that was arrested, obtained court documents that matched the description of a registered sex offender facing 22 charges. Information in the documents matched the sex offender registry and , where police said the suspect was being held. Salt Lake school employee arrested for alleged sexual exploitation of minor Limb is accused of possessing, manufacturing, and viewing child sex abuse material (CSAM) — also known as child pornography — with documents alleging the incidents occurred between December 2023 and March 2025. He is also accused of sexually abusing a child. In January 2025, Limb was reported to the (NCMEC) after someone who was helping him with his phone saw CSAM images. After that report, officials contacted Limb and interviewed him. Court documents described several files that were found on Limb's phone, including numerous photos 'that appeared to have been taken by [Limb].' 'The investigation is ongoing and further charges may be forthcoming,' Lehi police said. 'The individual was booked into the Utah County Jail and is awaiting further proceedings.' Court documents clarified that Limb was previously convicted on one count of attempted sodomy of a child and four counts of aggravated sex abuse of a child. Those details were also confirmed by the sex offender registry. As of March 16, inmate records showed that Limb was still being held in the Utah County Jail and was not able to be bailed out.
