Field fires lead to power cut across Rutland village
Two separate field fires have caused a power cut to more than 250 homes in fires, one north of Whissendine near Melton Mowbray, and another between Whissendine and Langham, were reported at around 12:00 have have disrupted overhead power lines, resulting in a complete power outage for around 280 properties across the Whissendine Grid said engineers were working in the area and estimated restoring power by 21:00. Disposable barbecue caused large Croft Hill grassland fire
