Egyptian actress, Arwa Gouda has boarded actor Yasser Galal's upcoming TV series "Leladala Wagh Akher".
Mohamed Alaa and Nouran Maged are also attached to star in the drama.
It is scripted by Amr El Daly, directed by Mohamed Yehia Moro, and produced by Mohamed Meshesh.
Gouda made her last onscreen appearance in the 2024 TV series "
Neama Al Avocato
".
The drama also starred Mai Omar, Ahmed Zaher, Walaa El Sherif, Kamal Abu Raya, Salwa Othman, Samy Maghawry, Tarek El Nahry, Lubna Wanas, and more.
"Neama Al Avocato" consisted of 16 episodes and achieved tremendous success during its premiere.
The drama once again reunited Omar with her husband, director Mohamed Sami.
The project marked the couple's seventh collaboration after working together on "Hekayet Hayah" (2013), "Kalam Ala Waraq" (2014), "Al Ostora" (2016), "Tisbah ala Khair" (2017), "Weld Al Ghalaba" (2019), "Nasl El Aghrab" (2021), and "Harley" (2023).
Sami directed the series from a script by Mohab Tarek.
"Neama Al Avocato" is produced by Maha Selim and sees Omar portraying the role of a lawyer for the first time in her career.
Born on September 27, 1979, Gouda started her career as a Model at the age of 13 after winning the "Best Model of the World" 2004/2005 title in Turkey which finally launched her acting career.
Soon after, the Nefertiti looking Arwa Gouda became a popular actress known for her vast range of characters, her gravity and most of all her genuine performance.
She made her break out of being typecast as a beautiful young damsel when she played the role of a heroine addict in director Amr Salama's first big screen movie "Zay El Naharda" (On a Day Like Today), which then landed her in getting harder and more challenging roles such as "Safeya" in director Sherif Arafa's movie "El Gezira 2" (The Island 2).
