1 dead, 3 injured after delayed fatal collision in Georgetown County
GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A person has died nearly a week after a collision that sent three others to the hospital, state troopers say. The driver of a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling north on Saint Delight Road around 1:26 p.m. on March 21 when their vehicle collided with a Chrysler Pacifica going east on High Market Street. EMS arrived and took the Malibu driver to the hospital, where they died Thursday from injuries sustained in the collision, according to Lance Cpl. Lena Butler. The three passengers of the Chrysler were also taken to the hospital with injuries, although their condition was not released. 1 dead in multi-vehicle crash on Treeland Drive
BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly multi-vehicle crash near Ladson. Corporal Lena Butler with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash happened Sunday around 12:30 a.m. on Treeland Drive near Tall Pines Road. A GMC Sierra pickup truck and Cadillac Escalade were headed east on Treeland Dr. when they collided with a westbound Toyota Corolla. The driver of the Toyota was injured and died at the scene. The Cadillac's driver was injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment. Trooper Butler said the driver and passenger of the GMC were not injured. The crash remains under investigation. ATV driver killed in Berkeley County crash
BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A Saturday night crash between an ATV and SUV left one person dead and another injured. Corporal Lena Butler with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the collision happened shortly after 10 p.m. on SC Highway 27 near Stonehenge Lane. A Yamaha ATV was headed south and a Honda CRV was traveling north when the two collided. The driver of the ATV died at the scene from injuries they sustained in the crash, while the driver of the Honda CRV was taken to Trident Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Person dies days after 2-vehicle crash near Robert Edge Parkway in Horry County
HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A person died days after a two-vehicle crash on Robert Edge Parkway in Horry County, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said on Wednesday. The crash happened last Friday at about 2:40 p.m., Lance Cpl. Lena Butler said. It happened near Highway 90. A 2010 Subaru Outback was traveling northbound from ramp no.5293 and a 2018 Toyota Sedan was traveling westbound on Robert Edge Parkway when the two collided, Butler said. The driver of the Subaru was taken to a local hospital, where they died on Tuesday. The driver of the Toyota was the only person in the vehicle and was not injured. Motorcycle rider killed in crash on SC road. Here's what we know
A motorcycle rider was killed in a Friday crash in Lancaster County, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said. At about 10 p.m. on Friday, the driver of a 2024 Honda CMX 500 motorcycle veered off the road and collided with a utility pole, Lance Cpl. Lena Butler said. The accident occurred on Taxahaw Road near Dahlia Road, five miles east of Lancaster The motorcyclist, who died on the scene of the accident, was the only person involved, Butler said. The rider's identity has not been released by the Lancaster County Coroner's Office.
