GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A person has died nearly a week after a collision that sent three others to the hospital, state troopers say.
The driver of a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling north on Saint Delight Road around 1:26 p.m. on March 21 when their vehicle collided with a Chrysler Pacifica going east on High Market Street.
EMS arrived and took the Malibu driver to the hospital, where they died Thursday from injuries sustained in the collision, according to Lance Cpl. Lena Butler.
The three passengers of the Chrysler were also taken to the hospital with injuries, although their condition was not released.
The Georgetown County Coroner's Office has not yet identified the deceased. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.

Panel to reflect on 10-years since trageic shooting at Mother Emanuel in Charleston

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – One week from today will mark 10 years since an event that changed the Lowcountry forever, the tragic June 17, 2015, shooting at Mother Emanuel in downtown Charleston. A gunman, motivated by white supremacist views, shot and killed nine people during Bible study at the historically Black church, leaving a lasting impact not only on the survivors but the greater Charleston community. As the 10-year mark approaches, people across the area are reflecting on how the Lowcountry came together in the aftermath of that event and refused to let love be drowned out by hate. Elected officials and community leaders will host a forum Tuesday night to explore the progress that Charleston has made in the 10 years since the attack and what work still needs to be done. That event will get underway at the Charleston Music Hall at 7 p.m. and will feature a panel discussion with leaders in law enforcement, community advocates, and lawmakers. News 2's Carolyn Murray will moderate the panel. There will also be a special performance by Grammy Award-winning musician Charlton Singleton. The event is free; however, registration is required. Armed crooks posing as Amazon deliverymen tie up, rob Queens family

Two armed crooks posing as Amazon deliverymen raided a Queens home, terrorizing a family of five including two small children, police said Tuesday. Cops from the 109th Precinct released surveillance images of the two suspects and asked the public's help identifying them and tracking them down. One of the robbers was wearing a yellow reflective vest when the pair approached the single-family home on 152nd St. and 12th Ave. in Whitestone about 6:30 a.m. Monday. The second man was carrying a large Amazon box. The two barged into the home, pulled guns and ordered the family — a 43-year-old father, 39-year-old mom, 18-year-old daughter, 10-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl — into the basement where they were zip-tied and had their mouths sealed with duct tape. The two crooks then went through the home, making off with an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry. They fled in the victims' Chrysler, which was later found abandoned four blocks away from the victims' home, cops said. The family was not hurt. A few minutes after the robbers left, the father was able to free himself and ran outside for help, neighbors said. 'I just see this man come running out of his house with duct tape on him,' one neighbor told CBS News New York. 'He was definitely disheveled. He was definitely scared and he probably didn't know what just happened himself.' Neighbors were stunned by the brazen robbery, which happened across the street from a local public school. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
