Real reason behind Oasis' reunion and the truth behind Noel and Liam Gallagher's reconciliation 'revealed'

The truth behind Noel and Liam Gallagher 's reconciliation and subsequent Oasis reunion has been revealed. According to reports, fans of the band have Noel's daughter Anais to thank for the long-awaited reunion tour. The model, 25, is said to have helped bring the estranged siblings back together after 'planting the idea' of a reconciliation. Anais is also said to have helped piece together the set list and give an insight into what younger fans might want to hear. According to The Sun, a source said: 'Anais could tell her dad really wanted both his brothers, Liam and Paul, by his side after the split so was determined to get them back in touch.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. They continued: 'She gets on great with Liam's sons Gene and Lennon so she asked them if their dad would be willing to hear her out. 'It enabled her to plant the idea of a reconciliation on both sides. Thanks to her close relationship with Liam, she was able to call him. Once Liam called Noel, the rest was left up to them.' Anais has frequently been seen with her cousins Molly, Lennon, and Gene with them often attending events together. Molly's mother is Lisa Moorish, who Liam had a brief relationship with while he was married to Patsy Kensit in 1998. Liam did not meet Molly until 2018 after which he expressed hope he would remain in her life. Liam shares Lennon, 25, with ex Patsy Kensit, and Gene, 23, whose mother is Nicole Appleton who he dated following his divorce from Patsy in 2000. Noel also has Donovan, 17, with ex wife Sara MacDonald, who he split from in 2023. Oasis sensationally split in 2009 after a backstage bust-up - devastating their loyal fan base. Anais is also said to have helped piece together the set list and give an insight into what younger fans might want to hear (pictured above in 2015) In the 14 years that have followed, a feud and bitter fighting has ensued with the brothers trading insults back and forth in interviews and social media. But this year, the pair are reuniting for a huge world tour, and have dates booked across the UK, America, South America and Asia in 2025. Anais hit back at 'ageist and misogynist' fans who complained about young people jumping on the Oasis bandwagon since the brothers announced their long-awaited reunion. Social media sites were awash with the band's older fans complaining that 'Suddenly everyone loves Oasis' and arguing that they deserve priority when it came to getting tickets for the shows next summer. Taking to TikTok to express her anger, she said: 'One thing I won't stand for is the ageism and the misogyny around people getting tickets.' 'Sorry if a 19-year-old girl in a pink cowboy hat wants to be there, I will have my friendship bracelets ready.' She also showed her support for a fellow user, Josie, who wrote, 'What do you mean everyone suddenly loves Oasis? Everyone has always loved them. They're one of the most famous bands in the entire world.' 'Don't try and gatekeep Oasis because you can't gatekeep probably the most famous band to come out of the UK. Literally, the entirety of Britain is Oasis fans.' Anais has become a firm fixture on her father's side, accompanying his solo band High Flying Birds on tour in 2023 and directing a documentary of the trip. She said: 'I know he likes to think differently, but I love my dad's music genuinely more than anything. I bang out Oasis and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds in my room super-loud all the time.' The Mail revealed last summer that Anais and Liam Gallagher's son, Gene, led the way in fixing their feud and convincing their dads to reunite after 15 years. A friend of the stars revealed: 'Anais and Gene led the way by showing their dads that they could set aside their differences.' 'They have made no bones about it, they told their dads that they love their old music and wanted to see them on the stage together.' Anais previously threw her support behind the news of Oasis' reunion by posting photos of her dad and uncle from the nineties and declaring: 'Summer 2025' She also reposted the band's announcement video and their statement: 'The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.'

Lennon Gallagher's girlfriend Isobel Richmond wows in a plunging red dress as couple cosy up at The Standard

Liam Gallagher 's lookalike son Lennon was joined by his stunning girlfriend Isobel Richmond as they enjoyed a glitzy date night on Friday night. The couple stepped out for the launch of The Standard in Brussels as they cosied up for the night out. Lennon, 24, looked sharp in an all-black look, while his model girlfriend, 22, looked incredible in a scarlet red mini dress. The bold number flashed a glimpse of her incredible figure while she added height to her petite frame in a pair of black open toe heels. She wore her long brunette tresses over her shoulders and added dramatic eyeshadow to make her blue eyes pop. The former fashion student showed off her model credentials as she pouted and posed for the camera. Lennon, whose mother is actress Patsy Kensit, has also dabbled in modelling as well as following in his father's footsteps by making music with his band Automotion. Last year Lennon - who has graced Italian Vogue and appeared at London Fashion Week - spoke candidly to MailOnline about the world of modelling and admitted it can be 'difficult at times'. The aspiring singer was first scouted at the age of 16 while walking down Brick Lane and he explained: 'I was walking in Brick Lane, and I was like, 16. 'I just got an army jacket and I was walking away from the store, this woman pulled me over and was like, ''You should be a model, take this card. We have a shoot in Africa, you should do it''.' Noting the situation seemed 'sketchy', Lennon went on: 'I didn't do the shoot because it seemed really sketchy, so I told my mum and she was like, ''If you want to get into it, I know some people''.' Lennon told how he reaches out to his agent if ever he feels unsure about a shoot or casting call. 'It's always pretty difficult putting yourself up for castings and stuff and putting yourself out there,' he stated. 'And then there's like hundreds of people who maybe look a bit like you, look so different to you, and like everyone is going in and out, and you're like, ''I'm not going to get this!''' Lennon admitted: 'You kind of do get a bit insecure, I can't lie,' before noting the importance of asking for help. 'For the context of being in the studio, if there's something you don't like you can always call your agent and they are always willing to help you out. 'They'll always try to help you out to their best ability. You're not alone.

Liam Gallagher's son: I didn't know Oasis were that big until they split

Liam Gallagher's son has said that he did not understand how popular Oasis was until the band split up. Lennon, 25, whose mother is Patsy Kensit, 57, the actress, said he only understood how famous his father was when the break-up became a topic of conversation in his school playground. Liam, 52, is reuniting with brother Noel, 57, for a tour 15 years after Oasis disbanded – prompted by a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in France. Speaking to British Vogue about his childhood, Lennon, who was interviewed with Isobel Richmond, his model girlfriend, said: 'I don't think I understood the scale of it all until the band split. 'People would all of a sudden come up to me in the playground and be like, 'Oh, my God, have you heard about this?' I just remember thinking, 'Oh, s--- they were massive'.' As well as their music, the Gallagher brothers were known for their style, with Liam often donning a parka and sunglasses. 'I looked f------ sick when dad dressed Gene (his half-brother) and me in mini-mod parkas for school. I used to try and steal his clothes, but I always had more luck with mum's,' Lennon added. The UK and Ireland tour will take in Cardiff's Principality Stadium, Manchester's Heaton Park, London's Wembley Stadium, Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium and Dublin's Croke Park throughout July, August and September. After tickets for the shows went on sale last year, there was outrage as some standard tickets appeared to have jumped from £148 to £355. The controversy prompted the Government and the UK's competition watchdog to pledge that they would look at the use of dynamic pricing. The band is also travelling to Japan, South Korea, South America, Australia and North America and a movie, produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, is being made in conjunction with the reunion tour. The Manchester band, which signed to Creation Records in 1993, soared to fame after they released their debut chart-topping album Definitely Maybe on Aug 29 1994. They had hits with songs including Champagne Supernova, Wonderwall, Supersonic and Live Forever. Noel quit the rock group in August 2009 saying he 'simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer'. Liam Gallagher's son Lennon admits rockstar wouldn't let him steal his iconic wardrobe... so he turned to his famous mum Patsy Kensit's clothing collection

Liam Gallagher 's eldest son, Lennon, has revealed the Oasis star wouldn't let him steal his iconic wardrobe, so he raided his mother's collection instead. The model, 25, is known for his uncanny resemblance to his father with his unruly eyebrows and mop of brown hair, and as a child he revealed his Dad used to enjoy making him a mini me. Speaking in an interview with Vogue he exclaimed: 'I looked f***ing sick when Dad dressed Gene [his half-brother] and me in mini-mod parkas for school. 'I used to try and steal his clothes, but I always had more luck with Mum's.' Lennon is from Liam's first relationship with the model and actress, Patsy Kensit, who revealed she only discovered her son was taking her clothes when she saw him wearing them on the front of a magazine. The actress, 57, said: 'I spent forever looking for a Sid Vicious T-shirt from a Corinne Day shoot in the '90s. Then one day, Lennon's wearing it in a magazine.' Even more recently Lennon was caught red-handed wearing another piece from her Sid Vicious collection in an Instagram post in October. Posing in the black and white snap, Patsy commented: 'Isn't that my t shirt? love you'. Lennon also revealed the upcoming Oasis reunion tour will be the first time he has seen his father and uncle play together, save for when he was a child in noise-cancelling headphones. The world went crazy after the Brit pop duo announced their tour last August. And speaking about the magnitude of their success Lennon said: 'I don't think I understood the scale of it all until the band split. 'People would all of a sudden come up to me in the playground and be like, "Oh, my God, have you heard about this?" I just remember thinking, "Oh, s**t… they were massive."' The Oasis Live 25 tour kicks off on 4 July at Cardiff's Principality Stadium before playing sell-out gigs at Manchester's Heaton Park, Wembley Stadium in London, and Edinburgh's Murrayfield stadium. The Brit pop band will then head over to America, South America and Asia in 2025. As well as Lennon, Liam has three other children from different relationships. He shares Gene, 23, with All Saints singer Nicole Appleton, 12-year-old Gemma Gallagher with journalist Liza Ghorbani and Molly, 27, with Lisa Moorish after their short-lived relationship in 1998. And on Wednesday it was revealed that Liam is set to become a grandfather at 52 after his model daughter Molly announced she's expecting her first child with boyfriend Nathaniel Phillips. Molly, 27, shared the news with a sweet Instagram post as she showed off her blossoming baby bump while cosying up to Nathaniel. In the slew of snaps she also shared images of her blossoming bump, baby clothes and a throwback of herself, in the post captioned: 'bulking season [pregnant woman emoji].' Friends and fans were quick to flood the comments with congratulations. Her mum Lisa Moorish wrote: 'Waaaaaaah!' while Sadie Frost commented: 'Congratulations - the best news'. Molly was famously estranged from Liam for 19 years, but she previously revealed she had no 'anger' at the situation. She told The Sunday Times Magazine in 2019: 'I don't have any anger. I'm actually thankful for how I was brought up with my mum and how my life's been. 'I wouldn't be who I am now if... it's all happened the way it was meant to happen. We just got on and I'm happy to have him now.' After meeting his daughter in her teenage years, the Oasis musician penned a song about her, called Now That I Found You, for his album.
