US Trailer For Irish Romantic Drama FOUR LETTERS OF LOVE With Pierce Brosnan and Helena Bonham Carter — GeekTyrant
A US trailer has been released for the Irish romantic drama, Four Letters of Love , featuring a great cast that includes Pierce Brosnan, Helena Bonham Carter, Gabriel Byrne, Ann Skelly and Fionn O'Shea. The film is directed by Polly Steele ( Keeping the Peace , Let Me Go , The Mountain Within Me ) from a screenplay written by Niall Williams, adapted from his own best-selling novel of the same name. The synopsis reads: 'Nicholas (Fionn O'Shea) & Isabel (Ann Skelly) are soulmates destined to meet, but love's path is anything but smooth. As Nicholas' father pursues a divine calling to paint, shattering their quiet life, Isabel's world falls apart after a family tragedy. Sent to a convent, she and Nicholas endure heartbreak and separation. Yet, through twists of fate, their lives intertwine in a miraculous reunion.' This is kind of a weird trailer, as it feels a little choppy, but the cast is great, so the film may be worth a watch. Four Letters of Love hits select US theaters and VOD on July 25, 2025. Gary Barlow at P&J Live: A Million Love Songs Later... the Take That star's 'still got it'
The closest I had ever come to Gary Barlow before last night's concert at P&J Live, was on the 400 posters covering every inch of my best friend's bedroom wall in the 90s. I've never managed to get tickets to a Take That concert, and despite sharing the same birthday as Jason Orange, which for a brief period in 1994 when I was obsessed with Mystic Meg made me feel quite special, I had yet to experience Mr B live. Well, I can't lie – it was absolutely brilliant. Teenage Lindsay was in her element. And middle-aged Lindsay, though an absolute newbie, was no less impressed. Accompanied by my dancing mother, who may as well have been on castors, I wasn't sure what to expect from a show covering three decades of music. Compared to much-publicised mega productions by Take That, it was clear from the outset that seeing the Songbook Tour show would be different. When the curtain lifted, a sequin-jacket wearing Barlow went straight into Open Road, led from his piano, with a swing-band set up around him. A backdrop of choreographed lighting, reacting to the music, was the only frill in this otherwise stripped-back show. But as was abundantly clear from the first bar, his pitch-perfect vocals need no gimmicks to showcase his extraordinary talent. The largely female audience waited not a single moment to relive their youth. On their feet and responding to every Barlow body gesture like he was conducting an adherent cult, it was clear that I may have been the only person in the arena not versed in GB etiquette. That said, it didn't stop me enjoying every second of the show. He jumped between the decades and styles with a swing version of Sure to a Mumford and Sons-esque Let Me Go. Then into a classic version – complete with perfect sax and flawless vocals – of A Million Love Songs. This only served to showcase Gary's undisputable talent. Oh, and a heap of teenage heartbreak memories too. Up tempo – he nailed it. Slow and pure – wow. Nae, wow-wee. And then, *cue screaming women by the thousand* – his dance routine to Pray. The self-deprecating Mr B may have joked: 'See, I've still got it', but nobody there would have disputed that. Looking so like his much younger self ala Do What You Like (okay, so he was fully clothed, and there was way less baby oil), I had to twice Google how old he is. Fifty-four years old. Not gonna lie, my 45-year-old knees were creaking just swaying alongside him and his band. Speaking of which – hats off to the trombone player, saxophonist and bassist who bopped along with ferocity all the night long. Superb energy and non-stop entertainment. His singers, musical director and wider band were no less phenomenal. His quip about being 'heavily rehearsed' was surely more fact than fiction. High-energy performances, stunning musicality, and no break? INSANE. My personal highlights were Relight My Fire, his new country style tune 'If There's Not a Song About It' and Never Forget, in the finale. Yes Mr B, it may have taken me 30 years to get to see you live, but I'm very glad I got there in the end. Brilliant night made all the more memorable by being there with my now-hoarse mum.

90s boyband star who abruptly vanished from public life pictured on rare outing
One 90s boyband star who quite literally vanished off the face of the Earth after quitting fame has been spotted on a rare outing. Take That member Jason Orange rose to fame in 1990 when the group was formed, comprising Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald, and Robbie Williams. Jason was part of the Never Forget hitmaking band for six years and returned when they reunited in 2005, but ultimately bowed out of performing and fame altogether when he quit in 2014. Now aged 54, the former pop star lives a much quieter life and is rarely seen in public. New photos capture him looking super chilled while cycling in Primrose Hill. Jason appeared in good spirits for his solo outing, dressed in casual attire with his hood up to avoid drawing attention to himself. The Patience singer sported dark grey cargo pants and a zip-up jacket, concealing his eyes with a pair of tinted shades. No longer performing to crowds of thousands or dancing in ultra-cheesy music videos, Jason has swapped his once hectic lifestyle for a much more normal pace. At the start of this year, it was reported that the star had entered the property business with Celtic football legend Neil Lennon. A source told The Sun in January: 'Jason and Neil have known each other for a fair while and played in a charity football game together some years back.' They continued: 'Neil has a firm, and Jason has come on board. 'Jason prefers to live a quiet life out of the spotlight but has got a real flair for property.' It's believed Jason sold his first property around that time, with customers praising his 'lovely' and 'professional' manner. When Jason announced he was leaving Take That, he told their devoted fanbase: 'I want to start by saying how proud I am of what we have achieved together over the years. 'I have spent some of the best years of my life with Take That, and I'd like to thank everyone who has been a part of my journey, including my bandmates, who I feel are like brothers to me.' While he referred to his now ex-bandmates as his 'brothers' at the time, Jason rarely speaks to the other members of Take That now. In 2018, Howard told Loose Women he believes Jason wants to be 'a million miles away' from the life he used to lead, revealing he's not good at responding to calls or emails and is 'off the grid'. A recent Take That documentary also confirmed that Gary, 54, Mark, 53, and Howard, 54, struggle to get hold of him these days, with Gary specifically admitting it's a surprise. The Let Me Go hitmaker said there was no real reason for Jason cutting contact, given that a feud wasn't the reason for his exit. He confirmed he only hears from Jason sporadically. More Trending 'It's a tricky one with Jay. I almost think if there had been a big argument, it would be easier, but there wasn't,' he added. 'He just wanted a change in his life. But he does keep an eye on us. And it's nice to know that.' The award-winning boyband is still going strong now as a trio, having ticked off some incredible bucket list achievements in recent years. Most recently, they performed a reworked version of their tune Greatest Day at the Baftas after it featured in the Oscar-winning movie Anora. Got a story? 'Thank you for all the memories so far': 3 Doors Down frontman Brad Arnold, 46, announces stage four cancer diagnosis in emotional video
3 Doors Down frontman Brad Arnold has revealed he's been diagnosed with stage four clear cell renal carcinoma that has metastasised to his lungs. In a candid video shared on Wednesday, the 46-year-old vocalist spoke directly to fans from a park bench, saying he'd been unwell a few weeks earlier and went to hospital, only to receive the life-altering news. "Hey, everybody, it's Brad from 3 Doors Down. I hope you're having a great day today. I've got some not-so-good news for you today," he began. "So I'd been sick a couple of weeks ago, and then went to the hospital and got checked out and had actually gotten the diagnosis that I had clear cell renal carcinoma that had metastasised into my lung. "And it's stage four, and that's not real good." Clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) is the most common form of kidney cancer, affecting the tubules that filter waste from the blood. According to Cancer Australia, the five-year survival rate for stage four kidney cancer is about 17 per cent, although outcomes vary significantly based on individual circumstances. Despite the bleak prognosis, the Mississippi-based musician maintained a powerful sense of faith. "You know what? We serve a mighty God, and he can overcome anything," he said. "So I have no fear. I really, sincerely am not scared of it at all." The diagnosis has sadly forced the Mississippi-based band to cancel their planned US summer tour with Creed. "It is gonna force us to cancel our tour this summer. And we're sorry for that," Arnold said, expressing his regret to fans. The Let Me Go singer ended the video by asking fans to keep him in their prayers, and referenced one of the band's most iconic songs. "I'd love for you to lift me up in prayer every chance you get," he said. "And I think it is time for me to maybe go listen to 'It's Not My Time' a little bit. "Thank you guys so much. God loves you, we love you." The band also shared a message from Arnold on social media, thanking fans for "all the memories so far". "Now, I believe ITS NOT MY TIME is really my song," the post read. "This'll be a battle so we need our prayer warriors! Thank y'all for being the best fans in the world. We love y'all! Brad." Fans flooded the comment section with words of love and support for Arnold, whose band shot to fame in the early 2000s with their debut single 'Kryptonite'. Creed frontman Scott Stapp was one of the first to respond, writing: "If anyone has the FAITH and STRENGTH to face this fight, it's YOU brother. You and your family are in my prayers daily. We can do ALL things through CHRIST. I think I can speak for all of us, we are lifting you up in prayer right now believing without doubt for your total healing! I love you bro…" Singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw added: "May God bless you brother. Showing us how to conquer the darkness with light."
