Former Steelers cornerback signing with Jacksonville Jaguars
A former Steelers defender is heading to the Jacksonville Jaguars — none other than CB Levi Wallace. On Sunday, it was reported that Wallace was signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars — a solid acquisition designed to bolster the veteran presence in the secondary. Wallace signed with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2018, where he would spend the next four years of his career. He signed a two-year deal with the Steelers in 2022 — but left Pittsburgh after a two-year stint to sign with the Broncos in 2024. Wallace did make the most of his short Steelers tenure, however, intercepting six passes in 31 games, 18 of which were starts. The Steelers have come a long way since the days of Wallace leading the charge at cornerback — as the new Pittsburgh CB trio of Joey Porter Jr., Darius Slay, and Jalen Ramsey is arguably the best group in the NFL heading into 2025. Former star Alabama cornerback reportedly signs with NFL team
According to a report Saturday from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, former Alabama Crimson Tide cornerback Levi Wallace is signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a free agent. Wallace, a seven-year NFL veteran, had yet to sign with a team this offseason, and was among the list of former Alabama players still remaining in free agency. The former Alabama cornerback most recently played with the Denver Broncos during the 2024 season, starting 2-of-13 games played. During that span, Wallace had 28 tackles, which was the lowest total of his career, along with two passes defensed. Over his seven previous seasons in the league, Wallace has compiled 333 career tackles with seven TFL and 12 interceptions across 96 career games, 72 of which he started. Undrafted out of Alabama back in 2018, Jacksonville will also be Wallace's fourth NFL team, joining the Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Broncos. Veteran cornerback Levi Wallace is heading to Jacksonville. The Jaguars have announced that they signed Wallace and released cornerback Aydan White to make room for Wallace on the roster. The 30-year-old Wallace will provide veteran experience in the Jaguars' secondary. He has played in 96 games with 72 starts in his NFL career, including 13 games and two starts for the Broncos last season. Wallace signed with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of Alabama in 2018 and became a starter as a rookie, and for three more years after that. He then spent two years with the Steelers before heading to Denver last year. White signed with the Jaguars as an undrafted rookie out of North Carolina State in April.

Jacksonville Jaguars boost cornerback depth with veteran free agent signing
The Jacksonville Jaguars are reportedly signing cornerback Levi Wallace, according to Ian Rapoport. The addition of Wallace bolsters the depth at cornerback while the team is without Buster Brown. Wallace is an experienced player, having appeared in 96 games on defense, which includes making 72 starts. He was most recently with the Denver Broncos last season, where he played 308 snaps, allowing a completion rate of 70.4% with one pass breakup, according to PFF. Most of Wallace's snaps in his career have come outside, and for what it's worth, he's often graded out well against the run and as a tackler by PFF's metrics. For his career, he has allowed a completion rate of 59%, 12.4 yards per catch, and recorded 12 interceptions and 35 pass breakups.
