Any product that promises to improve people's air quality is certainly worth a look, especially like me when you live in an older house and one with two pets. The Core mini claims to be able to purify 17㎡ in just half an hour using 360° VortexAir 3.0 technology and a 3-stage filtration system. The advice is to change the filters every 4-6 months and you will get a notification on the unit's display screen to check them. There is advice in the instruction booklet on how to clean the filters and when they need replacing, and how to do so. I haven't been using it for long enough, but we have had it on the go for a couple of weeks and myself and my wife feel like we can notice a difference in the air quality. I always find it hard to gauge the actual success of these things and there is an element of trusting the science. The size of the item is about the same as a rugby ball, and probably about the same weight. It's very portable, very easy to use, and only has a power button and three settings. That's my kind of gadget. The other option you have with the purifier is a little slot that you push in to expose a fabric pad, you can add essential oils to that to give it an aromatherapy vibe.
