‘That's Rare:' Ohio Woman Sells Hyundai Entourage Limited For $100. Then She Goes to a Kia Dealership 3 Years Later
An Ohio woman sold her Hyundai Entourage Limited to a junker three years ago for $100. Then she went to a Kia dealership and found a car that looked suspiciously like the one she previously owned. TikTok user Juliana Renda (@juliana_renda) told her mother's unlikely Hyundai story in a video posted on Sunday. 'POV: Your mom sold her van to a random man for $100 three years ago and is convinced she found it at a dealership,' she said in the video's on-screen caption. The video shows Renda's mother inspecting the interior of a tan Hyundai Entourage Limited van. She tells the camera her theory. 'That is our car,' she says of the junker. 'They took that thing and said they were taking it to the dump, and they sold it. And, look, they put a new exhaust on it.' 'Mom, that's not ours,' Renda says. The mother and daughter circle the vehicle, noting aspects that remind them of their old one. Other blemishes and features they don't recognize. At the end of the video, the pair gets into their current vehicle. 'Mom, you know they made more than one car, right?' Renda jokes. Her mother disagrees: 'I'm telling you. I think that is it.' Viewers Weigh In on the Hyundai Entourage Limited In the caption, Renda writes, 'If you work at Kia in Lewis Center, Ohio, we have questions and need the VIN number, ASAP.' In the comments section, viewers speculated about the circumstances surrounding the vehicle's sale. '$100 for a mini van is crazy,' wrote one person. 'Was there something wrong with it?' A second user replied, 'Did you not hear the mom say, 'They took that thing saying they were going to take it to the dump?' Obviously, something major was wrong with it.' A third person wrote, 'That's what people do. Buy scrap cars. Repair them. And sell them to places like Carmax.' Another person said, 'For the record, it may have been yours, since nobody bought the Hyundai Entourage. They are actually super rare.' Is the Hyundai Entourage Limited a Rare Used Car? Hyundai released the Entourage for just two model years between 2007 and 2009, which naturally means it'll be harder to find on the used market than other minivans. If you can find a Limited, it'll cost you around $3,600—although, of course, that depends on the condition of the vehicle and demand in your area. Motor1 reached out to Renda via email for comment. Bond set for former Ohio State football player charged in fatal Dublin crash
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A former Ohio State offensive lineman charged with aggravated vehicular homicide after a crash in Dublin on Saturday morning made his first court appearance on Monday. Kirk Barton, 40, was arraigned Monday morning in Franklin County Municipal Court, receiving a $500,000 cash surety bond. The ex-Buckeye football player cannot operate a vehicle or leave central Ohio. Barton's passport will be in the defense attorney's possession. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 1. Barton, of Lewis Center, is suspected of driving a Ford F150 Raptor pickup truck 'at a high rate of speed' eastbound on U.S. 33 before entering Historic Dublin just before 3 a.m. He then struck a Lexus on West Bridge Street, just west of Franklin Street, according to the City of Dublin. Police looking for pickup truck in connection to I-270 tanker fire in northeast Columbus Court documents show Barton was allegedly driving on the wrong side of the road before the crash. After the crash, police said he had slurred speech, as well as an odor of alcohol from his breath. Barton reportedly couldn't answer basic questions and admitted to drinking alcohol before the crash, according to court documents. The driver of the Lexus, 24-year-old Ethan Perry, was pronounced dead at the scene. Barton sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was later released from a local hospital into police custody. Barton played for the Buckeyes from 2003 to 2007 and was drafted in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears. His professional career spanned only three years for seven different teams, playing in just one NFL regular season game. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. Donald Trump dismantling our government. There must be more protests.
Donald Trump dismantling our government. There must be more protests. | Letters Show Caption Hide Caption See protests against President Donald Trump, Project 2025 in Columbus Hundreds of protesters showed up at the Ohio Statehouse to rally against Donald Trump's presidency and policies on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025. America is being destabilized before our eyes I wasn't at the protest, but I agree with them. The things President Donald Trump and Elon Musk are doing are illegal and unconstitutional and they need to be stopped. Trump should be impeached and removed from office. His pardoning of the 1,500 Jan. 6 insurrectionists is the most un-American thing a president has ever done. That alone is grounds for impeachment, but he continues to violate laws every day. He is dismantling our government and weakening and destabilizing our country. Donald Drennan, Columbus Right has right to protest too The protests at the Statehouse are a great example of folks exercising their constitutional rights to protest and make their desires known. On the flip side, when the inevitable counter protests start, I assume that both the crowd protesting, and the media will extend the same balanced emphasis on the right to protest by both sides. Phillip Gilliland, Lewis Center Protesting autocracy Thank goodness for the protests. I hope for more. President Donald Trump and Elon Musk are abusing executive branch powers. Congress must act to check and balance them. Perhaps our government needs updating and correcting in places but taking a blow torch to dismantle our government is not the solution. Their strategy is autocratic. We in America, oppose autocracy and tyranny. It should never be adopted as a means to some end. Our government is not the enemy. Musk is not updating our government; he is weakening it. This is not great for America. This is great for our enemies. Blowing up our government like Musk is doing is unpatriotic. Andrea Eckhardt, Blacklick Stand up for all I applaud the peaceful demonstrations against the immigration policy. We need to stand up for rights of all individuals. Let's not forget — somewhere in our lineage, we all came from those who immigrated from other countries. Welcoming all is what makes our country a place of hope. We need to develop a fair, unbiased system or committee that is created with diverse backgrounds to identify those who are undermining others from entering the U.S. due to illegal and criminal activities.
