He is strong in the air, brave and provides excellent leadership qualities, as proven by his appointment as captain when Sam Morsy is absent. His ability to carry the ball up the field and selfless work off the ball will see him go to the very top of the game. An athletic presence in the centre of the pitch, he would have been a steal at the pre-arranged £10m transfer fee had Ipswich stayed mentionsLuke Woolfenden and Cameron Burgess. The first-choice centre-back pairing for the back-to-back promotion campaigns.
