EXCLUSIVE Love Island's Millie Court admits watching back her flirting with boyfriend Liam Reardon on the ITV show makes her 'cringe massively'

Millie Court has admitted that watching back her flirting with boyfriend Liam Reardon on Love Island makes her 'cringe massively'. The reality stars won the seventh series of the ITV show in 2021 and had a year-long relationship before briefly splitting in July 2022. They have since reconciled and have been going from strength to strength, with the pair reflecting on their romance during Love Island's 10-year special, set to air on Sunday. Millie explained: 'Any moment of me and Liam flirting on TV makes me cringe massively. I actually can't watch that! 'But the moment Liam got up on stage and read out a letter he wrote for me… I always look back and think that was really sweet of him as I know how nervous he must have been. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'That was the moment I knew I was going to forgive him and thank god I did because look where we are now!' Liam agreed with Millie, adding: 'Most scenes of myself in the villa make me smile but also cringe! It's something about watching yourself on television as a young 21-year-old who thought they had it all figured out. 'Returning to the villa after Casa Amor and being the centre of all the drama around the firepit was definitely a cringe moment for me.' Despite the 'cringe' moments, Millie said Love Island has changed her life for the better: 'Love Island changed my life dramatically, but all for the better. 'I met the love of my life, my career sky rocketed and I've had opportunities I never even dreamed of because they felt so far out of reach. I will be forever grateful to Love Island for giving me the best gift of life I could possibly ask for.' In June Millie openly 'hinted' she is ready for Liam to pop the question and has already 'showed' him the style of engagement ring she would like. Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, she said: 'He's the one in control of proposing and I've gave a little hint and showed him a ring that I would like. 'Not that it means he'll do it any time soon but I thought better he knows now so when he does decide to, in the future, he knows what ring I like. 'He also knows what I would like proposal-wise as well, so where it would be and stuff'. Millie went onto say that the couple have been much happier in their relationship since 'doing long distance'. She said: 'It's amazing, he lives in Wales now and I'm in Essex so we're doing long distance but it's actually working really well. 'We managed to get that time together where I'll come down to Wales for a week, he'll come down to Essex, and it's almost like it's working because the time that we have apart we can crack on with work and solely focus on that. 'Then when we're together we really look after our relationship and actually spend quality time together.' The reality star admitted the pair 'struggled' with balancing a relationship as well as fame after first coming off Love Island, but despite splitting for a short period of time they 'always knew they wanted to be together'. Speaking as the face of VO5's Summer Festival Edit, Millie told MailOnline: 'I just think that we've got used to life as it is now. 'I think coming off the show as many couples, it is a struggle to sort of navigate this new life as well as navigating a relationship. 'So having that time apart meant that we could really get to terms with this new lifestyle and everything sort of happening with that. 'Then when we came back together it was like we'd got used to it and we were in a much more comfortable position with life and career and it meant that we could fully focus on our relationship 'We always wanted to be together, we knew that, it was just timing that was hard and it's much better this time around.' It comes after Love Island has confirmed exactly which show legends will be returning for its hotly-anticipated 10-year special. It was revealed last month that the ITV dating show is commemorating its 10th anniversary by welcoming back a whole host of its biggest stars. The one-off special, titled Love Island: A Decade of Love, will take on a 'Gogglebox style format' as the Islanders will revisit the show's most iconic moments. Airing in June, the episode will feature exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes insights as fans are given the chance to catch up with some of their favourite stars. And now, ITV has revealed exactly which Islanders will be back on screens with Dani Dyer , Curtis Pritchard and lovebirds Liam Reardon and Millie Court all set to return. Georgia Steel will no doubt revisit her iconic 'I'm loyal' catchphrase as she will make a comeback alongside series two winners Cara De La Hoyde-Massey and Nathan Massey. The show's other successful couples Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan and Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope will also be back to give fans an update on their love stories. Gabby Allen, who recently split from her All Stars boyfriend Casey O'Gorman, is also returning once again alongside the likes of Hannah Elizabeth, Anton Danyluk, Whitney Adebayo and Catherine Agbaje . Lastly, Montana Brown - who welcomed her second child with fiancé Mark O'Connor at the start of the year - will also be gracing screens again. Creative Director Mike Spencer said of the special: 'We've had an incredible ten years of love, drama and unforgettable moments in the villa - now it's time to look back and celebrate the icons who made it all happen. 'Expect big laughs and plenty of heart as we revisit a decade of Love Island magic.' While Paul Mortimer, Head of Reality, added: 'Love Island has become a true phenomenon over the past decade, delivering must-see TV moments every summer. 'This special offers viewers a chance to relive some of the show's most iconic moments with the Islanders who made them so memorable.' The special will air on ITV2 and ITVX ahead of the brand new summer series, which returns to Majorca this June.

Huge sinkhole suddenly emerges in road leaving locals without water

Local residents were left without water and faced having their village cut off after a huge sinkhole opened up in the middle of a road in Pontsticill, South Wales A huge sinkhole opened up in the middle of a UK street - leaving locals without any water. Council officers and workmen rushed to the scene yesterday morning following reports of a burst pipe in Pontsticill, South Wales, which had led to the surface of the village 's main road caving in. Eyewitnesses described seeing water spraying from the pipe, while a number of locals complained of having no water at a community meeting held later that day. The sinkhole also caused severe problems accessing the village, forcing the local council to open up a road that had been shut for several months due to landslides. ‌ Drivers are temporarily allowed to use the other road between Brecon Mountain Railway and the water treatment works, which has been closed since November following two landslips during Storm Bert. One resident said on Tuesday: "The Pant road has been closed for five months with nothing happening. This morning a burst pipe at Penygarn has formed a huge sinkhole and closed the road to Cefncoed. ‌ "The only access to the village is now by the Clyn single track road. The council are opening the Pant road this evening (Tuesday evening) with traffic lights. A road that was too dangerous to walk on yesterday is okay to drive on today." A traffic light system is currently in place to ensure the route is safe to drive on, while the road affected by the sinkhole is closed for repairs. In a statement, Merthyr Tydfil council said the road at Pant is safe at present to use due to the dry weather. A spokesperson said: "This is a temporary diversion with two-way traffic lights and has been deemed safe to use in the short term following inspections and due to the warm, dry weather." ‌ Drone footage from the Pontsticill site on Wednesday showed the sinkhole being filled in by council officers at the scene following the fixing of the pipe, while the road remains closed. This afternoon, Councillor Lisa Mytton announced that water had been reinstated to affected properties, and said the road will hopefully reopen by Friday evening. In December, more than 30 homes were evacuated in the nearby village of Pant after a massive 50ft sinkhole appeared just yards from a reality TV star's house. The hole in the road appeared in front of the family home of former Love Island winner Liam Reardon. Evacuated residents were eventually allowed to return home 11 days later after Merthyr Tydfil council began work to fill in the hole.

Love Island's Chloe Burrows sparks concern as she shows off swollen face before sporting an eyepatch amid mystery ailment

Chloe Burrows has sparked concern among her fans after sharing a snap of herself with a swollen face. The Love Island star, 29, took to Instagram on Tuesday to ask her followers how their morning was going, but instead garnered attention for her bruised and swollen eye and slightly puffy cheeks. Chloe looked glum in the snap in which she went make-up free, with the blonde beauty's eye partially closed amid the mystery ailment. In her next Instagram story, Chloe was quick to ensure her fans that she was fine, however, she did little to quell the concern as she was seen sporting a black eyepatch. Giving a thumbs up while displaying the eye covering, Chloe penned: 'Guys the last story was meant to be funny pls don't be concerned x Regular programming by force.' MailOnline have contacted Chloe's representatives for comment. In her next Instagram story, Chloe was quick to ensure her fans that she was fine, however, she did little to quell the concern as she was seen sporting a black eyepatch Earlier this year, Chloe shared a very 'traumatising' experience from her trip to Australia. The reality star spent Christmas and New Year down under with best pal Millie Court, Liam Reardon and a group of their friends. Despite clearly having a lot of fun during the holiday, Chloe admitted she had one bad experience where lifeguards were forced to rescue her from a riptide. On Joe Baggs' Not My Bagg podcast, he asked Chloe if she had any wild stories to tell listeners. Chloe then shared: 'On Christmas day we went to Bronte Beach and it was an actual rave on the beach. I really need a wee and they had public toilets but the queue was f***ing huge so I was like, 'I'll just go in the sea I don't care.' 'So, I run with my friend down to the water to go for a wee and I got in and I'm trying to go for a wee and this huge wave, and I am drunk, like I should not be swimming it is unsafe and was very silly of me, but anyways this huge wave is taking me out. 'I got caught in a riptide so I'm now so far away from the shore and I'm like trying to call my friends.' Joe asked: 'Did you still go for a wee?' She replied: 'Yeah well I p***ed myself from being scared. I probably s*** in the sea as well, it was really traumatising and then two lifeguards are coming and pull me back to shore and I was just a drunk mess. It was just pure chaos.' Chloe shared several stunning snaps to social media from her time in Australia, including one in a skimpy red bikini on Christmas day. It comes after Chloe went public with her new romance, three years after her Toby Aromolaran split. The influencer, who shot to fame on Love Island in 2021 with Toby, went public with her new man, Ruben Moreira as she moved on from her former romance. She posted a picture on her Instagram Stories of her and Ruben, with fans immediately taking this to mean she was 'soft launching' her new relationship. It's understood Chloe met Ruben through Love Island co-star and pal Liam Reardon, as the two men are friends.
