Did Ed Sheeran shares big detail about Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco's wedding?

Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran confirmed a big detail from Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco's upcoming wedding. Selena and Benny got engaged in December 2024 after months of dating and going public with their relationship. Amid growing curiosity over Selena and Benny's wedding, Ed Sheeran took on Vanity Fair's "Lie Detector Test" series. He revealed that he has made the guest list for Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco's upcoming wedding. When he was asked if he had received an invite, Sheeran said, "Mm-hmm." He went on to confirm that Blanco, with whom he has collaborated on several songs, attended his intimate wedding to wife Cherry Seaborn in 2018, as per People. Talking about the wedding, Benny shared an update on wedding planning while appearing on the April 30 episode of the Table Manners with Jessie and Lennie Ware podcast. He said that he and Selena were yet to make much headway. "We haven't figured out anything in our wedding yet," he said, before revealing that one must-have for their big day. "The only thing I've said straight up, as a part of the food, is that I want [Jewish cook and food writer] Jake [Cohen] to do the challah," the music producer said. 'That's all I care about. He makes the best challah I've ever had,' he also added. Meanwhile, Selena Gomez elsewhere said that she and Benny will be skipping a popular wedding tradition, the first dance. Blanco said that they decided on it because the Rare Beauty owner is 'shy.' However, she is open to doing a "special dance" with her maternal grandfather. She decided on it to give her grandfather the best experience of being a part of the wedding that he missed out on when the singer's mom got married, reported People. In the same podcast, Blanco also shared deets about his first "embarrassing" kiss with Selena. 'We were hanging on our second date, towards the end of the date, we were sitting in the living room on the couch, and we were playing 'We're Not Really Strangers,' ' he said. 'And there was a thing where it said, 'Take a selfie with the person next to you,' and we were already kind of lounging and she got right on my chest and took a selfie and then right after I just looked at her and I said, 'I got to kiss this girl,'. And I kissed her right away," he added.

Ed Sheeran Already RSVPed to Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco's Wedding

Ed Sheeran might have to send an apology note along with his wedding gift for Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez. The 'Don't' hitmaker accidentally revealed a specific detail about the couple's nuptials, which has otherwise been kept under wraps. During Vanity Fair's Lie Detector Test, Ed was asked whether he had been invited to Selena and Benny's wedding, to which he responded that he had. In fact, he already sent his RSVP on behalf of him and his wife, Cherry Seaborn. The Grammy winner goes way back with the couple, as he and Sel are close to Taylor Swift, and Benny attended his incredibly intimate wedding with Cherry in 2018. When asked what his favorite track on the duo's album, I Said I Love You First, is, Ed shared that he hadn't listened to it in full just yet. 'I've got to be honest, I bought it on vinyl and I want to listen to it on vinyl. I haven't listened to it all the way through,' he shared. Sel and Benny got engaged in December 2024 and have remained tight-lipped when it comes to details about their wedding. However, during a joint interview with Rolling Stone ahead of their album's release, the couple shared that they weren't in a rush to plan the ceremony. 'I think every day she's planned a new wedding in her head. We're very much 'take it one day at a time'-type of people,' Benny told the publication at the time. 'We're still not over this moment. Literally, while you were talking, she was sitting there staring at her ring.' The Rare Beauty founder added, 'Also, I genuinely feel like this is such a special time that we get to apply it to this album and really just pour our heart into it, and completely translate what we feel and bring it to the world. That's my main focus right now, at least.' Lady Gaga teases Telephone sequel with Beyoncé

Lady Gaga has teased the possibility of a sequel to her Telephone music video featuring Beyoncé. Released in 2010, the final shots of the nine-minute-long film show the superstars driving through a desert while police sirens wail in the background. The Jonas Akerlund-directed video ends with the message, "To be continued..." But when asked about Telephone during a recent interview for Vanity Fair's Lie Detector Test series, Gaga confirmed another instalment was in the works. "The video for your song Telephone said, 'To be continued...' at the end. Will it ever be continued?" the host questioned, to which the popstar shyly replied, "Yes." Gaga admitted she didn't know when the project would be released. The Bad Romance singer was then shown a photo of Beyoncé and queried, "Will this person be in it?" "Maybe," the 38-year-old responded, flashing a smile. Gaga insisted any delays to the Telephone sequel weren't due to scheduling conflicts. Yet, she didn't indicate whether the collaboration would appear on her upcoming eighth studio album, Mayhem. Elsewhere in the lie detector test, Gaga was probed over whether she had a desire to change her name. "I think so, because I did. Right?" she laughed, referring to her real name, Stefani Germanotta. The Die with a Smile hitmaker also maintained that she doesn't have a rule about who get to call her Stefani. "I let a lot of different people call me Stefani. It's not a rule, really," she added. Mayhem is set to drop on 7 March.
