OSBI investigating deadly shooting in Okmulgee
OKMULGEE, Okla. (KFOR) – The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is looking into a homicide in Okmulgee.
According to the OSBI, on July 12, 2025, the Okmulgee Police Department and the Muscogee Creek Nation Lighthorse Police Department responded to a shooting near Martin Luther King Street and North Wilson Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers found 25-year-old Devontae Hanson with an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries.
