WSO releases schedule of the 2025-2026 concert series season with tickets now available
The Windsor Symphony Orchestra (WSO) made a big announcement Tuesday morning about their upcoming season - WSO concert season tickets are now on sale.
The Windsor Symphony Orchestra (WSO) made a big announcement Tuesday morning about their upcoming season - WSO concert season tickets are now on sale.
Tickets are available online and at the WSO box office at the Capitol Theatre at 121 University Ave. West.
To help kick-off the new season, the WSO's concertmaster, violinist Lillian Scheirich, was in box office to help sell the first tickets.
'There's a special energy and emotion that comes with listening to people play,' said Scheirich.

'And in this age of AI doing everything, we have to remember that there's people that do that and they put their heart and soul into it, and they make it special. It's not something that could be computer generated. It's something that comes from our hearts.'
WSO 2025-2026 season highlights include:
Canadian composers – Vincent Ho, Jordan Pal
Syrian American composer Malek Jandali's world premiere
Local artists – Amelia Daigle, Jael Hernandez, Erin Armstrong, the St. Clair College music theatre students and more
Guest artists – saxophonist Timothy McAllister, pianist Kevin Cole
Vocalists' Charlotte Knight, Reggie Smith jr., Lee Siegel, and the Sultans of String
WSO rocks! The music of Led Zeppelin and The Who
WSO traditions: Holiday Pops, Handel's Messiah and family concerts
Patrons can choose their own packages, with a season full of diverse performances from the classics to more modern and contemporary themed events, and with special guest performers.
Maestro Robert Franz is gearing up for a return to the capitol stage in September. The opening night is with Gershwin is Saturday, September 20.
