Summer House star drops bombshell split at reunion five months after welcoming baby as cast left stunned

Lindsay Hubbard dropped a bombshell on Part 2 of the Summer House season 9 reunion Wednesday night—she and Turner Kufe have quietly called it quits. The 39-year-old reality star, who welcomed daughter Gemma with Turner in December, revealed the breakup happened 'a few months ago.' 'We put our romantic relationship on pause for now,' Lindsay told host Andy Cohen. 'We are just focused on being the best parents we can possibly be to Gemma. We are coparents, we are an amazing team.' The news left the cast visibly stunned. 'It is hard to tell,' Gabby Prescod admitted, adding, I wouldn't have guessed.' West Wilson chimed in that he'd spent time with the pair just last week and 'didn't clock it' either. 'Yeah, because you wouldn't,' Lindsay replied. 'We are like the best of friends.' She added, 'Even on the weekend, when we don't have our nanny and it's just the two of us tag-teaming being parents, we're out to brunch, we're going to visit friends.' Lindsay and Turner—a doctor she briefly dated back in 2020 — rekindled things in January 2024 and announced her pregnancy six months later. But while sparks flew at first, Lindsay admitted the two were simply on different pages. She also praised Turner for being a better father 'than I ever could have expected.' Lindsay added that Turner still sleeps at her apartment 'half the week,' but clarified they're not 'friends with benefits' and aren't seeing other people. 'We'll see what happens in the future,' she said, noting there's still a lot to figure out when it comes to parenting, 'my lifestyle, me being public, him being private. It's too much at once.' After Amanda Batula praised Turner (who was not present at the reunion) for being a supportive father, Gabby Prescod called Lindsay's choice to end the relationship 'a mature decision.' Lindsay and Turner's romance flourished after her high-profile breakup and ended engagement with Summer House co-star Carl Radke in summer 2023 'We've had discussions about it,' Gabby said. 'She was like, "Turner's such a great dad to Gemma, but he's not the person romantically for me."' Gabby added that Lindsay was choosing not to 'make it work just to stay a family,' but instead hopes to 'find somebody else who can be the man for me and not the dad, because Gemma already has a dad.' Lindsay and Turner's romance flourished after her high-profile breakup and ended engagement with Summer House co-star Carl Radke in summer 2023. By July, Lindsay revealed she was pregnant with her and Turner's first child.

Lindsay Hubbard Gives a First Look Inside Her New NYC Home: "It's Kind of Incredible"

The past year and a half has brought many changes for Lindsay Hubbard: a new relationship, a new baby, and now a new apartment. Fans got a taste of the home upgrade on Friday, May 16, when the Summer House cast member shared footage of her big move-in day. 'Okay back to the moving content you guys didn't ask for!' she wrote in the Instagram video, which showed a long hallway lined with dozens of unopened boxes and protective floor runners. The clip provided a glimpse at the apartment's wooden floors and hallway pillars, as well as the kitchen and a few storage areas. 'These guys work so hard omg!' she said, referring to the Roadway Moving crew. 'The fact that they packed me in one day and moved me the next… brain is still trying to compute how quick (and safe)… I mean, it's really incredible. They just unpack and put it all down. They're not going to organize for you, but they literally take it all out of the boxes — there's lots of boxes here — and put it on some shelves… It's kind of incredible.' Between the moving boxes and unpacked items, it was difficult to get a proper view of Lindsay's kitchen; however, the video provided several peeks at the stone-top kitchen island, the chrome appliances, and Lindsay's accessories Lindsay Hubbard Just Debuted a Major Hair Chop: "Oh My God" (VIDEO) Lindsay confirmed her home move during Mother's Day weekend as she began culling items from her wardrobe. 'Life update. I am moving next week to a new apartment, after all these years,' Lindsay said in a May 9 Story. 'My organizers are here, and we are going through and doing a big edit and purge of literally all my clothes that I don't wear. We've already tackled the closet. There's sh-t everywhere. The dresser's next.' Lindsay went on to document the move-out process and took a moment to reflect on her time in the home. 'Bye. We love you. Thank you,' she said while filming her baby girl's nursery. 'I'm glad I changed the energy of this room. Because it now holds a special place in my heart.' She remained in the home following their shocking 2023 split, but began 'apartment hunting' several months after she and Turner Kufe welcomed their first child together. 'I love my current apartment, but it's seen me through a lot of changes,' the new mom told The Daily Dish, before referring to her daughter, Gemma Britt Kufe. 'I have to start making friends for her and eventually put her in school. So that's the goal. Right now, the location is the most important for Gemma and what is best for her.' 'Summer House' Season 9 Reunion: All the Hints the Cast Has Dropped

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. The Summer House Season 9 reunion is still a few weeks away from airing, but the cast has dropped a few hints about what viewers can expect. While viewers are still watching the last few episodes of the season play out, the Summer House cast has already filmed the reunion, which will air at the end of the month. This season on the show, viewers got to see Paige DeSorbo struggle with her relationship with Southern Charm's Craig Conover; Ciara Miller and West Wilson navigate the fallout of a tumultuous friendship and relationship; and Jesse Solomon's whirlwind relationship with new cast member Lexi Wood. Of course, viewers also got to see a new side of Lindsay Hubbard, who ended last season with her broken engagement from Carl Radke and started this season with the announcement of her pregnancy. Reunions give the cast members a chance to rehash what happened the previous season and answer questions from Andy Cohen and fans about some of the biggest moments. Part two of last season's reunion was a viewership high for the season and fans' interest in the various relationships that didn't work out this season could bring in another high level of viewership. More The Hapa Blonde/GC Images//While the cast is supposed to keep details of the reunion under wraps until the episode airs, there have been tidbits of information that have trickled out over the last few weeks since the reunion filmed. Imrul Hassan told Newsweek that he gets to show viewers a little bit more about himself on the reunion and give them more context to the person who was portrayed on the show. During the season, he opened up about being undocumented until he was 23 years old when he was confronted about the number of women he was inviting back to the house. He told Newsweek that, looking back, it might not have been the best context to bring up his back story, but he gets to elaborate on it during the reunion. Amanda Batula, who was first introduced to viewers as Kyle Cooke's girlfriend in season one, said on Instagram that she was "shocked" by the seating chart that placed her next to Cohen. It's a coveted seat and shows Batula's transformation from not being a full-time cast member on season one to being a critical part of the show in her own right nine seasons later. Reunions can often turn contentious, but DeSorbo recently revealed on an Amazon Live that the cast "had a good time" and it's the most she's ever laughed at a reunion. "Obviously there was a part where it was not great vibes and people were fighting," DeSorbo said. "But overall, as a reunion whole, probably one of my favorite ones." Hubbard seemed to echo DeSorbo's reflections on the reunion, telling Us Weekly that she had a "great time" at the reunion and the cast hit "every emotion." "I think that there are a lot of things that you might expect to happen, but things are unexpected as an outcome," Hubbard said. Hubbard added that she wasn't "directly in the hot seat" during the reunion, which was a new place to be for her after nine seasons. Solomon's relationship with Wood this season drew parallels to Wilson's relationship with Miller last season. During the season 8 reunion, Wilson found himself in the hot seat as his cast members questioned his behavior toward Miller. When asked on the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast if Solomon had as much to answer for at the season 9 reunion as he had to during season 8, Wilson said Solomon could "walk out of the room with his head up." When it comes to if Wood was supported at the reunion or was left out on her own, Wilson said on the podcast that it was a mixture of both. "I will say in her defense, like she's so articulate and well-spoken that, like, I think she could hold her own in any situation ever," Wilson said. "She, like, doesn't need help at all. But yeah, there's, like, so many weird complexities to this situation. But I will say, like, she was certainly, like, leading the charge." After Wednesday's episode, Solomon appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and was asked about a toe-sucking incident that occurred in a room with Hassan, sparking tension with Wood. Cohen asked what really happened in the room and Solomon said people will "find out at the reunion." But it's unclear if anything actually comes to light during the reunion because he quickly followed it up with "nothing" and said "I can't hold water, Andy." Solomon also teased a major announcement that happens at the reunion, sparking tons of speculation as to what it could be. "I would say there was, like, a big announcement that we were all very surprised by," Solomon told fans during an Amazon Live. "But I can't tell you what." The final episode of the season will air on May 21, with the reunion after that.

Generate Key Takeaways Fact checked by Sarah Scott Parents/GettyImages/Bravo 'Summer House' star Lindsay Hubbard 'Summer House' star Lindsay Hubbard While we've loved watching Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard get 'activated' in the Hamptons over the past eight years, we've seen a softer (dare we say chiller?) side of her since she announced her pregnancy—fireworks and all—last fourth of July. And all-nighters mean something slightly different since her daughter, Gemma, was born in December 2024. Though Gemma is now 5 months old, Hubbard's pregnancy has been a big storyline throughout the ninth season of Bravo TV's Summer House. She's let fans in on her gender reveal, sonogram appointments, and partying without taking a sip of rosé. It's a shift from last summer when Hubbard's ex-fiancé, Carl Radke, called off their engagement on camera. In a moment of comfort, her housemate Paige DeSorbo wisely predicted that in a year, Hubbard could be 'married with a baby with the love of her life.' And indeed, one year later, Hubbard has a baby and love of her life, Turner Kufe, by her side. How New Motherhood Has Been for Her While Hubbard is loving motherhood, she tells Parents these first few months have been an adjustment. 'You're learning how to become a new parent. You're trying to keep this baby alive. You are trying to understand if you're ever going to sleep again. There's hormones crashing and the postpartum of it all,' Hubbard shares. 'In the beginning, I had an identity crisis of 'Who am I? I'm a new mom—what does that look like for me moving forward?' I lost all autonomy and was trying to figure out the eating and sleeping schedule. It is a lot in the beginning.' Now Hubbard is enjoying the routine she's set with Gemma. 'Watching her hit all of her milestones is the best. She's smiling. She's rolling over nonstop. She's desperate to crawl. She's so chatty right now. It's really cute and fun,' she says. 'I feel like we're entering into a stage that gives positive reinforcement. I can sit back and say, 'It's all worth it.'' Taking the Pressure off of Breastfeeding Through her breastfeeding journey, the reality star learned not everything goes according to plan—and that's OK. Hubbard wanted to stick to a combination of breastfeeding and pumping for the first three months. Unfortunately, after a month, she developed mastitis, an inflammation of breast tissue which she describes as 'brutal.' Though it caused her to stop nursing and only pump, she was proud of herself. 'You just don't know what you're capable of," she says. "I didn't know if I could supply milk for my baby for that long." Combo feeding also relieved some of the pressures of being a new parent. 'Your feeding journey is your feeding journey. Find what works for you," she advises. "I think it's important to reiterate that to women so that they don't put so much pressure on themselves. It's really hard to breastfeed and pump. It's a rigorous routine every three hours and then by the time you're done with it, you have 30 minutes until you must do it all over again. You're handcuffed to a device, and it can be a lot.' She's now stopped pumping and shares that she feels a fog has lifted. 'Those additional hormones that my body was hanging onto just to produce milk for Gemma are now slowly fading,' she says. 'I stopped crying every day about random stuff. Now the tears are, 'Oh my God, she's so perfect. I love her so much.'' Enjoying Her First Mother's Day Hubbard is excited to celebrate her first Mother's Day. 'Now that I'm a mom and have gone through the entire experience of pregnancy, labor, delivery, birthing, I just don't think moms get enough credit across the board,' she laughs. 'So I'm glad that there is at least one day to celebrate us moms.' As for her first Mother's Day gift? Hubbard would be thrilled to sleep an extra 30 minutes while Kufe takes the morning shift. She also curated an Amazon storefront filled with Mother's Day gift ideas, making sure to include items she would give as a gift—or buy for herself. She's moving apartments in a few weeks so many of her choices include home, kitchen, and entertaining items. Life on Reality TV Moving is a big deal as Summer House fans know that Hubbard's apartment has been the epicenter of many life-changing moments. 'My apartment has seen a lot and been through a lot. It's gone through the ringer with me—from Carl and I moving in, to then the insane, publicly humiliating breakup, to then me getting pregnant and having a baby and bringing Gemma home here," she explains. "It's been the scene of some pretty critical years.' And Hubbard believes these years starring on a reality TV show prepared her for motherhood. 'I've been raising 'man babies' my whole life, so I'm happy to be raising an actual baby,' she laughs. 'I have gone through so many journeys on Summer House that I really feel like I can draw upon a lot of those life experiences to help raise my daughter.' As for Gemma's future on reality TV? Inquiring minds are eager to know if Hubbard is ready to move on from Summer House. She's currently the only mom in the house and it's not exactly a baby proof living situation. Hubbard remains tight-lipped but shares that she's excited for Gemma's first summer. 'I'm a summer baby. It's always been my favorite season, not just because of Summer House, but because it's who I am,' she says. 'Gemma's going to be the perfect little age, from 6 to 9 months, which will be really cute. I can't wait to go to the beach with her or take her into a swimming pool for the first time.' And whether or not that will be caught on camera? We'll just have to stay tuned! Read the original article on Parents
