Legendary '70s TV Actress, 76, 'Looks Incredible' in Rare Appearance

Legendary '70s TV Actress, 76, 'Looks Incredible' in Rare Appearance originally appeared on Parade. It's been close to 50 years since Lindsay Wagner rose to the status of pop culture icon as The Bionic Woman — so fans were shocked to see the actress looking just as stunning as ever in a recent appearance. Actress Kelli Maroney, 59 — known for her roles in such classic '80s films as Fast Times at Ridgemont High — took to Instagram to share a photo of herself with Wagner from a recent fan convention featuring the stars standing with their arms around each other, both smiling broadly for the camera. Wagner, 76, appeared years younger than her age, wearing a blue button-down shirt and glasses. As Maroney explained in her caption, she once lived in the same apartment as Wagner, and was "starstruck" to finally meet her. "She's so beautiful and has such a light, lovely energy about her," she wrote. Commenters were quick to rave about the photo, with one person writing, "Lindsay Wagner! That's a cool trip back to my childhood! She still looks so lovely!" "Two of my most favorite ladies!!!❤️❤️❤️🙌🙌" added a second fan, with someone else gushing, "Great story! And she looks incredible 🔥🔥🔥." In a 2016 interview with AMC, Wagner opened up about the lasting legacy of The Bionic Woman. "I think the attempt that we made to make her so real and so human and so relatable — and the sensitivity of the character was relatable to kids in general because they haven't become hardened yet, and boys, especially perhaps, hadn't become the 'hardened self' that's 'expected' in a male in our society, in that generation," she explained. "I think people forget that this new balance of masculine and feminine in our society — women being allowed to be strong and men being allowed to be sensitive and still strong -- is a very new thing," she continued, adding, "I think people 30 and younger don't get that it was literally just decades ago when that wasn't so." first appeared on Parade on Aug 13, 2025
