Salem-area Friday school delays and closures as ice, freezing rain forecast
With more snow and ice predicted overnight Thursday and into Friday morning, road conditions were expected to remain dicey around Salem.
Here are Salem-area schools, colleges and organizations with delays and closures for Friday.
Central School District: Closed
Dallas School District: Closed
Gervais School District: Closed
North Marion School District: Closed
Salem-Keizer Public Schools: Closed. The EDGE program and district offices are also closed.
St. Paul School District: Closed
Linn-Benton Community College: Campuses will open at 10 a.m. Remote classes will continue as scheduled. In-person classes may move to remote if the instructor chooses.
Western Oregon University: Closed.
City of Salem: In-person services at the Salem Public Library, Center 50+, Salem Housing Authority, the permit application center, public works operations, police lobby and records and municipal court will be closed on Friday. The Salem-Willamette Valley Airport is also closed to all aviation operations.
