Pssst. SZA is having a free pop-up in Phoenix. Everything fans should know
Solana "SZA" Rowe will bring her new Not Beauty brand to life for fans at Westgate Entertainment District on Tuesday, May 27, before she takes the stage at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, as part of the co-headlining Grand National Tour with Pulitzer Prize-winning hip-hop star Kendrick Lamar. Not Beauty is a nature-inspired, vegan and cruelty-free collection of lip glosses exclusively sold at pop-ups at tour stops. The three lip gloss shades — In the Flesh, Strawberry Jelly and Quartz — are $23 each. SZA will appear at the pop-up experience, but the exact time has not been disclosed. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m., so she'll be there sometime before that. The pop-up is open 1-8 p.m. Tuesday. It's free to attend; event parking rates apply. Pop star, 35, has barely aged a day since one hit wonder 16 years ago
THIS music star has barely aged a day 16 years on from her famous hit song. The rapper shot to fame back in 2008 with the release of her chart topping hit, Lip Gloss. 4 Now 35, Niatia Kirkland - better known as Lil' Mama - looks frozen in time in a new video uploaded to Instagram. In the clip, Niatia can be seen walking past a petrol station then down the streets of Brooklyn in a racy outfit. She wears a denim co-ord, which reveals her incredible toned stomach and a lacy red bra. She accessorises the look with a trench coat, red fur bag adding a huge diamond chain around her neck. The music star then tosses her bright neon hair to the side before sending kisses to the camera. She captioned the post: "Grab it Like It's Made For You (heart emoji)" "LIL MAMA FOREVER POPPIN," added another. "Dayuummmm (heart eyes emoji) that's the biggest glowup in the entire industry," chimed a third. A fourth penned: "Been beautiful since day 1." Lil' Mama shot to stardom at just 17-year-old with the release of her memorable hit and dance anthem, Lip Gloss. The song became a viral sensation reaching Number 10 on the Billboard 100. This earned the singer two Teen Choice Awards and a nomination at the MTV Music Awards. She then went on to become more widely recognised when she collaborated with pop-punk singer Avril Lavinge on her track Girlfriend. After the release of her only album VYP she took a music hiatus opting to become a judge for eight years on MTV's America's Best Dance Crew. Fans may also remember that infamous moment from 2009 when Jay-Z and Alicia Keys reunited to perform Empire State of Mind at the Tony Awards. Jay-Z and Alicia Keys were shocked when Lil Mama unexpectedly hopped on stage in a cringe-worthy moment. She later revealed the she went on stage because she was emotionally moved by the performance. The rapper has also had success as an actress starring the TLC biopic as Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes and in 2019 she starred in the crime flick All In.
