City of Watertown makes changes to its flag policy

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – The Watertown City Council has reversed course on its flag policy that it adopted just under a year ago. In a 3-2 vote in Monday night's meeting, the flags of any government recognized by the United States, commemorative and organizational flags can be displayed at any official city events or ceremonies. However, this has to be approved by the Watertown City Council.
