Inside Dani Dyer and Jarrod Bowen's wedding day as it happens

TV star Dani Dyer and her West Ham footballer beau Jarrod Bowen are tying the knot in a low-key wedding today. The former Love Island star, who is a mum to three children, got engaged to Jarrod, 28, after he popped the question in a romantic proposal during a boat trip in Ibiza last year. Dani then returned to the White Isle for her hen do, which took place a week before she was due to walk down the aisle. The 28-year-old reality star, who is the daughter of EastEnders and acting icon Danny Dyer, has given a few details about her nuptials during the planning process. Dani opted for a low-key wedding, as the pair will exchange their vows in the picturesque English countryside. Keen to stick to tradition, the blushing bride reportedly stayed separately from her footie star fiancé on the eve of the wedding as she stayed with her parents Danny and Jo. Dani's big day is set to be a family affair, as her former Mick Carter actor dad, 47, will walk her down the aisle while her two-year-old twin daughters, Summer and Star, will be flower girls. Dani is a proud mum to the twins as well as her four year old son Santiago, who she shares with her ex Sammy Kimmence. Santiago, who has an adorable nickname for his stepdad, is also set to be page boy alongside Dani's brother Arty. Clearly a fan of the Bridgerton aesthetic, the TV star's nuptials are said to be themed around the Netflix hit, with lots of violins there to perform music. And while the celebrity couple's fanbase is large, the guest list for their VIP wedding has been kept small as the couple are said to have invited only 50 guests to celebrate their big day. As Dani and Jarrod's vision for their special day comes to life, we'll be bringing you the latest from their big day as it comes, so stay tuned! The couple are tying the knot less than a year after Jarrod popped the question to Dani. After seeking Dani's dad's permission, Jarrod got down on one knee during to boat trip in Ibiza. Dani and Jarrod then announced the news by sharing a string of sweet snaps from the proposal, which showed off Dani's gorgeous glittering ring, on their Instagram. The couple then captioned the snap with: "Us forever" followed by a ring emoji. Her ring features a huge oval cut diamond set on a pavé band lined with smaller diamonds. According to the CEO of The Diamond Pro, Mike Fried, her centre diamond looked to be approximately 4 carats and is likely worth a hefty $100,000 (£77,376). Speaking about the ring, Mike said: "The elongated shape of her diamond gives the ring the utmost elegance. It's evident that a lot of time and effort went into designing the ring, a testament to this couple's commitment and strong future together." Acting icon Danny shares a close bond with his daughter Dani, as the pair regularly collaborate on joint career ventures together – including their podcast, Live and Let Dyers. The night before her wedding, Dani stayed with her dad and mum Jo. And on the big day, Danny is set to walk his daughter down the aisle. Danny has been vocal about his approval of Dani's hubby-to-be Jarrod – especially as he is captain of Danny's beloved footie team, West Ham. Speaking in October, the former Mick Carter actor revealed on Heart Breakfast that Jarrod called him to ask the star's permission to marry Dani. As Heart Radio host Jason King said he'd be terrified to do so, Danny revealed: "No, you've got to remember I'm obsessed with this man. "There is nothing he can do wrong in my eyes. He scored the winning goal in a European final." Dani has given some insight into her wedding day to Jarrod. The star has revealed the special day is inspired by Netflix hit series Bridgerton, set in the Regency era. So we can expect plenty of florals, pastel colours and lots of violins – as a staple of the series is the classical twists on modern classics. Meanwhile, in February, Dani revealed her hopes for an intimiate affair as she revealed during a Q&A on her Instagram story: "I would say it's as intimate and small as it can be! I honestly can see why people go and elope and then have a big party because the guest list [I] honestly found soooo difficult!"

The TV star shared Instagram stories of her on the flight with a bottle of Limoncello in her hand. She flashed a big smile while wearing heart-shaped sunglasses, a veil on her head and a lace garter around the leg. In a major nod to her future husband, Dani wore West Ham United's traditional kit, with a claret shirt with blue sleeves, white shorts, and white socks. On the back of the t-shirt had 'Mrs Bowen to be', with Jarrod's jersey number 20. This isn't the first hen party Dani's had in recent weeks. In April, Dani took to Instagram to share a peek into her lavish first hen do. The clip showed her dancing with former Love Island co-star Georgia Steel, while younger sister Sunnie was also in attendance. Dani captioned: "The most perfect special night with all my nearest and dearest. "Why do I feel so emotional about it all hahaha.... finally all starting to feel so real and I'm just so excited." Dani Dyer reveals fears over fiance Jarrod's stag do as dad Danny Dyer reveals racy plans A follower commented: "You look amazing! Xxx." While another penned: "So so happy for you." Dani looked stunning as she wore a sheer corset beaded dress at the celebration. Her off-the-shoulder wedding frock had sleeves embroidered with the words "To Be Bowen". She also flashed her huge engagement ring in the snaps, along with a glimpse of the ruched detail on the bottom of the dress. Meanwhile, the star wore her hair in a classy half updo with loose curls and finished her look with flawless bronzed makeup. It comes as Dani previously shared her fears over her fiancé's stag do - as actor dad Danny Dyer revealed racy plans. The father-daughter duo discussed Dani's upcoming nuptials - as well as Jarrod's stag-do on their Live and Let Dyers podcast. Dani said: "If you can go, Jarrod gets back on the Thursday and we're married Saturday." At this point, Danny, 47, swiftly interjected by cheering: "Strippers!" His daughter, however, proceeded to disagree with this possibility, saying "no, you're not." She added: "We had a butler in the buff, but we had to draw him. We had to draw the naked man." The Marching Powder actor remarked: "That's what we would do. We'd probably draw the..." Dani cut in: "It's different, I'm sorry, it's so different." Dani and Jarrod got engaged last summer on a romantic boat trip in Ibiza, having escaped for a minibreak. The couple left their one-year-old twin daughters Star and Summer at home with family, along with Dani's son Santiago, three, from a previous relationship. Speaking previously to Fabulous, Dani revealed: "We've found the venue, which is beautiful. It's giving Bridgerton vibes. I want violins. 'I'm just praying it doesn't rain. We're getting married in the UK, so you never know!' She added that their wedding 'is very family-focused' with their twin daughters as flower girls. "Jarrod's little brother and my little Santi will be page boys,' she continued. How Dani Dyer transformed her reputation The daughter of everyone's favourite EastEnders geezer Danny, is currently living the high life. But Dani has had a rollercoaster few years, from her Love Island win back in 2018, to watching her son's father Sammy Kimmence go to prison for fraud, and now navigating her glamourous new life as a WAG and mother of twin babies. In recent years, Dani has completely shaken off the 'chav' persona, and has become one of the most well-known of the current England WAGs. Fabulous spoke to celebrity PR expert Ed Hopkins to find out the key steps Dani has taken to reinvent herself, including the tips she has borrowed from iconic WAG Cheryl Cole. Ed revealed that Dani's ability to navigate personal challenges, such as the scandal involving Sammy, has greatly played a crucial role in her reinvention. Ed said: "By openly discussing her struggles and triumphs, she has built a strong, relatable persona. "Her transparency about her personal life, including solo parenting and dealing with public scrutiny, has garnered significant public support and empathy." He also shared that Dani's openness in discussing the challenges of motherhood, has helped to transform her reputation. Ed said: "This openness has made her more relatable to a broader audience, particularly young mothers. She balances her public image by sharing both the joys and hardships of parenting, creating a more nuanced and authentic brand." Dani is often seen supporting West Ham winger Jarrod, including during England's devastating loss to Spain in the 2024 Euros. Her unwavering support for her partner, has cemented her as one of the most well-known WAGS of this generation, according to Ed. He said: "Her active support for Jarrod, including attending football matches and engaging with fans, mirrors the strategies used by high-profile WAGs like Cheryl Cole and Victoria Beckham, who also stood by their partners publicly and built their own identities alongside them." Not only this, but Ed revealed that Dani has been able to stay relevant over the years due to her candid use of social media. He said: "Dani has consistently used media platforms to share her narrative, from interviews to social media updates. "She has managed to stay relevant by engaging with her followers through candid posts and professional collaborations. "This approach is reminiscent of how Victoria Beckham transitioned from pop stardom to a respected fashion designer, using media to reframe her public image." 'My brother Arty is going to be a groomsman. "Then I've got six bridesmaids. Knowing Dad, he will be an emotional wreck. "He's already planning his speech, too, but I'm not worried. 'I'm more concerned about Jarrod's best man. He's very cheeky." 6 The reality star wore a sheer corset beaded dress Credit: Instagram @danidyerxx

Danny Dyer issues two-word 'dig' over children and says 'I don't want to die rich'

Opening up in a recent podcast episode, the EastEnders actor disclosed that he'd flown first-class to Dubai on flights that cost him an eye-watering "eight grand a seat" Danny Dyer has candidly expressed his views on wealth, confessing that he doesn't "wanna die rich" and referring to his offspring as "privileged t***s". On an episode of Live and Let Dyers, the EastEnders actor divulged details about a lavish Dubai getaway, revealing he splurged on first-class Emirates tickets at a staggering "eight grand a seat". ‌ During a conversation with his daughter, Dani Dyer, Danny inquired if she had ever experienced such luxury. She admitted to flying business class, which she found "enough" and saw no need to "do" first. ‌ He conceded that "you probably don't", but explained his excitement led him to think that since he earns money, "why not s***k it?" He then discussed how "some rich people" opt to have their kids travel in a less opulent fashion. Danny remarked: "And what I realised is that what some rich people do - and I suppose I'm a rich person now - is that they would put their self and their wife in first-class and chuck their kids in business or f*****g in economy." Dani suggested that placing children in business class is acceptable, but putting them in economy is a "bit naughty". Danny retorted: "Well, I treated my children, because I do, the privileged t***s that they are, with their f*****g first-class seats." He enthused about the first-class experience with Emirates, where passengers get their own room, and recounted how he and his wife, Joanne Mas, indulged in a buffet with "beautiful food" in the lounge. Danny candidly shared his experience of boarding a plane via the lounge, jokingly remarking: "Oh yeah, absolute f*****g snobby c***s that we are", which prompted Dani to question: "What have you become?". ‌ He shot back with a frank philosophy on wealth: "Well, I dunno. Why do you earn money to keep? We earn money to f*****g spend it. I don't wanna die rich." The 47-year-old father of two daughters, Sunnie and Dani, and a son, Arty, was recently put in the hot seat on a new ITV series called The Assembly. The show features autistic, neurodivergent, or learning-disabled individuals posing challenging questions to celebrities. ‌ During his appearance, Danny was asked how working-class it was to send his son to a private school. He explained that he was "proud" of his roots but didn't want to live in an environment where there were "helicopters going over my house." He went on to note that when you have children, you "want to give them everything", but it sometimes "backfires" as they don't become "street-wise". Reflecting on his own upbringing, he added: "I walked everywhere as a kid or I had to get a bus. I don't think they've ever been on a f***ing bus, my kids. They don't have to, do they? Because they get driven door to door by a Bentley." You can next catch Danny in The Assembly on Saturday, April 26, from 10:05pm to 10:30pm on ITV.
