Barmouth Town Council enhance beach accessibility with new wheelchair
Cllr Llio Elenid Owen, Cabinet Member for Corporate Services and Legal and the Welsh Language added: "Going to the beach is a great opportunity to enjoy the scenery and nature of Gwynedd, not to mention sea air can be beneficial for mental health. It's extremely important everyone has a fair chance to enjoy all Abermaw beach has to offer, so I'm pleased this new wheelchair is making that experience more accessible to more people.

Gwynedd Council's Welsh language commitment highlighted in report
Cllr Llio Elenid Owen, Cabinet Member for Corporate and Legal Services and the Welsh Language, added: "I'm delighted residents of Gwynedd have the opportunity to use their Welsh across all the services the council provides. The annual report is an opportunity for us to highlight the good work being done by staff across all the council's departments, and I'm looking forward to seeing another year of implementation, and ensuring that promoting the Welsh language is a key part of all the council's work."

Gwynedd Council to considers Supreme Court ruling on definition of woman
Cabinet Member for Corporate Services and Legal and the Welsh Language, Cllr Llio Elenid Owen, said 'the council is in the process of considering the implications of the ruling taking into account further information, e.g. the Equality and Human Rights Commission's Interim Guidance, published on 25 April'.
