Provide electronic voter list & videos of 10-years, or you're hiding a crime: LoP Gandhi to EC
Bengaluru: The Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi on Friday demanded that the Election Commission of India (ECI) provide the electronic voters' list for the past 10 years along with video recordings. He warned that failure to do so would amount to the ECI concealing electoral fraud and a crime. Addressing a massive gathering during the 'Our Vote, Our Right, Our Fight' rally against alleged election fraud, LoP Gandhi said that if the ECI is withholding data, it indicates collusion with the BJP in committing electoral fraud. 'The Election Commission must understand that it took six months to expose fraud in just one Lok Sabha seat. If you don't provide the data, we can still uncover irregularities in 15 to 20 Lok Sabha seats. We already have the information. You can't hide and escape. One day, you will have to face the Opposition. Each officer and the Commission must be aware of this,' LoP Gandhi warned. He charged, 'The result of one Lok Sabha seat in Karnataka was stolen. This is a criminal act against the people of the state. The state government must investigate and take action. The ECI officials who enrolled 1,000 to 15,000 fake voters on the rolls must be held accountable. The truth regarding the Mahadevapura Assembly segment must come out.' He further asserted, 'We believe that the electronic data of all Indian voters constitutes vital evidence. If anyone destroys it, it amounts to destruction of evidence — a punishable crime.' 'If the electronic data of the entire country is made available, I will prove that Prime Minister Narendra Modi became PM through fraudulent means. The entire country must question why the ECI is refusing to provide the digital records and video footage. "The data from Karnataka is proof of a crime. It took six months to access it. There was a huge pile of documents. One photo had to be compared with lakhs of others. Each name had to be checked against many similar ones,' LoP Gandhi stated. LoP Gandhi alleged, 'Had the BJP lost 25 seats, Narendra Modi wouldn't be the PM. In one seat, we have already proven fraud. In all 25 crucial seats, BJP candidates won by a margin of around 35,000 votes.' He reiterated that the foundation of the Constitution lies in the principle of 'One Man, One Vote.' "Every Indian citizen is granted the right to vote by the Constitution. In the last election, the BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and their leaders attacked the Constitution. Constitutional institutions were suppressed, and attempts were made to dismantle the Constitution,' he charged. He continued, 'During the last Lok Sabha election, a major question arose. In Maharashtra, after the Lok Sabha polls, the state Assembly election was held. In the Lok Sabha, our alliance won. But four months later, the BJP alliance won the state polls 'magically.' We tracked that 1 crore voters had voted in the state election. Wherever they voted, the BJP won. New voters who did not vote during the Lok Sabha polls suddenly cast votes in the state Assembly polls — and their votes went to the BJP. That was the moment we knew something was wrong.' 'In Karnataka, our internal surveys predicted 15 to 17 Lok Sabha seats for us. As per our estimates, we should have won 17 out of 28 seats. But we ended up winning only 9,' he said. 'That's when we began to question whether we had genuinely lost those seats. We demanded soft copies of the voters' list — the ECI refused. We asked for video recordings — they rejected the request and even went on to change the rules. So we started our analysis with just one Lok Sabha seat and discovered the electoral fraud,' LoP Gandhi concluded.

Cong now has conclusive evidence of voter list manipulation, says LoP Rahul Gandhi at Legal Conclave
Addressing the annual Legal Conclave titled 'Constitutional Challenges – Perspectives & Pathways', Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, on Saturday, launched a fierce attack on the Election Commission of India (ECI) accusing it of enabling electoral fraud. He said the grand old party has 'conclusive evidence' of this fraud by the poll panel and he claimed that the institution has 'disappeared' and no longer functions independently. In his speech before over 1,500 delegates, including senior Congress leaders and legal professionals, LoP Gandhi stated that the Congress party has obtained 'conclusive evidence' of voter list manipulation and large-scale electoral malpractice. 'My allies would say to me, 'yes, we can see that cheating has happened. But we don't have proof.' And now, I say with absolutely no doubt that we have proof,' he declared. 'We have such proof that will show the whole country that the institution of the Election Commission, as we know it, does not exist anymore. That it has disappeared.' LoP Gandhi said the party conducted a six-month-long investigation into physical, booth-wise voter lists provided by the Election Commission. The documents, he alleged, were deliberately made unscannable and uncopyable. 'Why would the Election Commission protect the voter list like that? The paper versions they give cannot be scanned or copied. It took us six months of non-stop work to find this proof,' he said. The Congress leader said that his team compared six-and-a-half lakh voter photographs and names manually, uncovering that one-and-a- half lakh were fake. 'We went photograph by photograph, name by name, comparing six and a half lakh entries. And I'm proud of the work the Congress Party did,' he said. LoP Gandhi recounted his long-held suspicions about the integrity of elections since 2014, saying he was particularly shocked by the sudden defeat of the Congress and its allies in Maharashtra after a clear Lok Sabha victory. 'Three formidable parties suddenly just evaporated. That's when I thought, this just cannot be. And so we started seriously looking into electoral malpractice,' he stated. He added that despite early signs of irregularities in states like Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh, it wasn't until recent months that his party gathered hard documentation, 'This is treason, nothing less than that. And we will find you,' he said, in a pointed warning to those allegedly involved in tampering with the democratic process. He called on the legal community stating that the constitutional framework they built was being dismantled. 'It was the legal minds, the legal fraternity that built this entire architecture. And it is being systematically unravelled on every front, some visible, others hidden,' he said. The allegations come amid heightened scrutiny over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in Bihar and alleged voter list irregularities in polls across Karnataka and Maharashtra.

People will oppose him for disrespecting Indian military: Giriraj Singh slams LoP Gandhi ahead of Bihar visit
In a scathing attack on Leader of Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi ahead of his visit to Bihar, Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Friday accused him of disrespecting the Indian security forces and aligning rhetorically with India's adversaries, declaring that people will not support him. Speaking to reporters, Giriraj Singh said: 'What will happen during the Bihar visit?" "The person visiting Bihar is someone who opposes India's military and has worked to defame the Indian military worldwide. They have even insulted the security forces' valour, which is an act of treason. Their language resembles that of Pakistan,' he alleged. Taking the rhetoric further, the Minister accused LoP Gandhi of questioning the armed forces and mocking national pride. "He raises doubts over our military's courage, that is an act of betrayal. His language mirrors Pakistan's. People will oppose his visit, and in the upcoming elections, why would anyone vote for someone who doesn't respect the military or the nation?' Singh remarked. He also contrasted LoP Gandhi with former leaders who united across party lines during national crises. 'In 1971, when the Indian Army won, did Indira Gandhi win or did the Army win? Atal Bihari Vajpayee, despite being in Opposition, said there's only one party now, India. But this man mocks the bravery of the nation. Such a person deserves to be boycotted,' Singh said. Echoing similar sentiments, BJP's Bihar State President Dilip Jaiswal criticised the Congress party's move to label Rahul Gandhi as 'Jan Nayak.' 'This is laughable. On the soil of Bihar and in this country, the only true 'Jan Nayak' is Karpoori Thakur. We have always honoured him with that title. The Congress is trying to snatch that identity and impose it on Rahul Gandhi, which will never be accepted,' Jaiswal asserted. 'Karpoori Thakur will always remain Bihar's 'Jan Nayak'. No one else can claim that legacy. The people of Bihar will not tolerate this political appropriation,' he added. LoP Gandhi's visit to Bihar comes at a crucial time as both the BJP and Congress intensify their political narratives ahead of the next round of elections. He will be on a day-long visit to Bihar on Friday during which he is scheduled to interact with several women's groups in the Gayaji district and attend a function in Nalanda, among other programmes.

'Not Found Suitable' category is new Manuism in Central universities: LoP Gandhi steps up attack on Centre
New Delhi: The Leader of Opposition (LoP), Rahul Gandhi, on Tuesday claimed that 'Not Found Suitable' category was a 'new means of assault' being practiced in Central Universities to deprive Dalits and Other Backward Community (OBC) students from availing equal rights and privileges. He also vowed to launch a fight, along with students, to strongly oppose the anti-reservation move of the BJP-led government. LoP Rahul Gandhi's fresh attack on the Centre comes in the backdrop of his recent interaction with the students of Delhi University Students Union (DUSU). During the conversation, the students shared their daily travails and also run-ins with the administration over issues like the 'Not Found Suitable' category and suppression of voice, while the Congress MP urged them to understand the real problem – 'ostracisation' because of their social status. 'Earlier, there were avenues for you like the public sector. But now, wherever you are, you are being removed and eliminated from the system, privatisation is a means to achieve this,' said LoP Gandhi. 'Use the right word, it's not privatisation but de-Dalitification and de-OBCfication that is happening,' he told one of the students. LoP Gandhi further slammed the Centre over the 'Not Found Suitable' category, stating that it is a betrayal of social justice. 'This category of 'Not Found Suitable' is the new Manuism now. Qualified SC/ST/OBC candidates are being deliberately 'disqualified' - to keep them away from education and leadership,' LoP Gandhi wrote on X, while posting the video of his interaction with students. The Congress MP alleged that the Modi government was destroying the country's education model, which was described by Babasaheb Ambedkar as the "biggest weapon for equality". The Congress leader further alleged that the 'Not Found Suitable' category was an attack on the Constitution and added that it is not limited to Delhi University alone but a similar plot to deny the Dalits their rights was going on in all Central Universities including IITs and IIMs. 'In Delhi University, more than 60 per cent of the reserved posts of Professors and more than 30 per cent of the reserved posts of Associate Professors have been kept vacant by labelling them 'NFS'. This is no exception - IITs, Central Universities, the same conspiracy is going on everywhere,' he said. In the video, LoP Gandhi is also heard telling the students that the very foundation of the 'Hindutva project', is to erase the history of the SCs, STs, and OBCs. "Why is 90 per cent of history not taught in our books? Why is only 10 per cent of history there in our books? Why is it not written that for 3,000 years, Dalits have been treated like dirt, they have not been respected, have not been given any space in society?" LoP Gandhi asked. LoP Gandhi further told the students that if the Congress comes to power, it will demolish the 50 per cent cap on the quota system and will ensure that all get equal representation as "reservation is a right." He told the students, 'Reservation is a right. The Congress-ruled states have shown the way and that is the way to ensure social justice.' The former Congress President also vowed to fight the anti-reservation designs of the BJP and RSS, with the power of the Constitution and also voiced confidence that students will become an active participant in the fight against reservation.
