Sean Kingston sentenced to 3.5 years in federal prison for $1M fraud scheme: Reports
Sean Kingston was sentenced to three and a half years in federal prison Friday.
Kingston, whose legal name is Kisean Paul Anderson, was sentenced on Aug. 15 for a $1 million fraud scheme, according to Local 5 Miami and CBS News. Last month, his mom Janice Turner was sentenced to five years in prison while Kingston's sentencing was rescheduled to this week.
The sentencing comes after a jury found the "Beautiful Girls" singer and Turner guilty of all charges against them following a five-day trial in March, according to court documents reviewed by USA TODAY.

They faced one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and four counts of wire fraud.
