Sana'a… Handing over site for construction of Al-Nasr Al-Wahdawi School to implementing party
Sana'a - Saba:
The General Administration of Community Initiatives in Sana'a province and the Local Council of New Sana'a District on Monday handed over the first phase of the Al-Nasr Al-Wahdawi School construction project to the implementing party.
The project, which includes the construction of 14 classrooms along with annexes, administrative offices, storage rooms, and service facilities, is being implemented as a community initiative at an estimated cost of 120 million Yemeni riyals. It is funded by the local authority, the Central Interventions Unit, and contributions from citizens.
During the handover ceremony, attended by the Director of Financial Affairs in the province, Mohammed Al-Amisi, the Directors of Community Initiatives, Engineer Mohammed Al-Nazari, and the District Director, Abdullah Al-Marouni, explained that the first phase of the project includes excavation, land leveling, and the construction of foundations, bases, and columns, at a cost of 28 million riyals.
They praised the community's engagement and the role of the community committee in implementing the project, while also appreciating the support of the province's leadership. The project will represent a new addition to the development of educational infrastructure in the province.
Al-Nazari and Al-Marouni urged the implementing party to redouble efforts to complete the project according to the specified technical standards, cost, and timeframe.
