‘Local Perspectives' returns to Sioux City Art Center
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — The Sioux City Art Center is now taking submissions for Local Perspectives.
All artists 18 years and older who live within 75 miles of Sioux City are welcome to submit their art. Each artist can submit up to three artworks, which can be either 2D or 3D.

A monetary prize will be awarded to the three artists who place first, second, and third. Each place will receive $500, $300, and $200.
According to the Local Perspectives website, Local Perspectives is the 'longest running juried exhibition featuring Siouxland's creative communities.' This year, the collection will be on view October 2, 2025, through February 9, 2026.
The deadline for entries is July 28, with final decisions made on August 22.
The exhibit will be installed in the JET Gallery located on the third floor of the Art Center and juried by Sioux City Art Center Curator Christopher Atkins. Artists who want to submit or learn more can visit the Local Perspectives website.
