Alabama lands massive transfer portal pickup from 2025 All-Horizon League outfielder

On Monday afternoon, the Alabama Crimson Tide picked up yet another big commitment through the NCAA transfer portal in former Northern Kentucky standout Logen Devenport.
Devenport announced his commitment to Alabama via a post on social media.
An outfielder who will be entering his senior season in 2026, Devenport is coming off a phenomenal 2025 campaign at Northern Kentucky in which he slashed .423/.533/.786 across 46 games to earn First Team All-Horizon League honors. Devenport also posted a career-high's nearly across the board with 14 home runs, 54 RBI, and 19 stolen bases.
Prior to last season, Devenport also spent his freshman and sophomore seasons at Northern Kentucky in which he played both ways, sporting a combined 10.22 ERA with four saves and a 10:9 K:BB ratio across 12.1 innings pitched between the two.
Offensively, Devenport did not see action until his sophomore season in 2024, a year in which he owned a .296 AVG with five home runs, 46 RBI, and 14 stolen bases across 54 games.
