Sally Obermeder doesn't look like this anymore! Former breakfast TV host reveals her insane transformation at the Logies after becoming an Eastern Suburbs housewife

Sally Obermeder stunned onlookers as she unveiled her glamorous makeover at the Logies on Sunday night. The Real Housewives of Sydney star turned heads in a fitted gold dress with a halter neck design that skimmed her slender curves. The 52-year-old looked decades younger as she posed up a storm in the foil-like number, which showcased her tan. She went all out for her makeup look, choosing a bronzed palette with a matte pink lip and heavy peach blush. Sally's look was a far cry from how she appeared in her days as a television presenter. The former TV host once sported a less flashy look, darker hair and far fewer tanning products. She left the Seven Network in 2020 before embarking on a reality TV career. The television personality then joined The Real Housewives of Sydney for its second season in 2023. Sally's appearance at the lauded awards show follows controversy around this year's invite list. Most of the cast of The Real Housewives of Sydney were left off the Logies guest list, despite the show being up for an award. Only Obermeder was invited to walk the red carpet - and she made sure to put on a show. In recent years, the star has been busy with her wellness brand, SWIISH. She was inspired to start the business after battling cancer. Sally rose to fame in the 2000s as a presenter on Sydney Weekender, before moving on to roles on Today Tonight and The Morning Show. She was diagnosed with the disease back in October 2011, at 41 weeks pregnant and the day before she was due to give birth to her first daughter Annabelle. Speaking to Daily Mail, Sally said she's grateful for each and every day and feels like she's 'giving back' in a way after her cancer journey. The television personality married her husband, product developer Marcus Obermeder, in 2001. Besides daughter Annabelle, they also share a second daughter, Elyssa.

Single Samantha Armytage brings a hot date to Logies - as the TV star debuts her youthful makeover following divorce

Samantha Armytage is single and ready to mingle after a painful divorce. The 48-year-old looked absolutely stunning as she arrived for the Logies on Sunday night. Sam ruled the red carpet in a cream gown with graduating tones of beige, pale pink and grey in the sheer overlay that sat over the gown's skirting. She showed off her glamorous new look, with a full face of bronzed makeup and a soft pink lip. The television host swept her blonde locks off her face and added glittering earrings for extra interest. But it was the man on Sam's arm that commanded the most attention. Sam was mixing business and pleasure and had the star of her new series, The Golden Bachelor, on her arm. Her date, Barry 'Bear' Myrden, is the 50-something hunk who is looking for love in the upcoming dating series that Sam hosts. While the outing is designed to be a promotion for the hotly-anticipated series, Sam's return to the public eye with a glamorous man on her arm is the perfect comeback following her painful divorce. Sam split with husband Richard Lavender late last year, just shy of their four-year anniversary. The television personality has been single and ready to mingle ever since, and has recently undergone a glamorous makeover ahead of her hosting role on The Golden Bachelor. Barry 'Bear' Myrden is an infrastructure engineer and passionate sailor from Sydney, who has been handpicked as the leading man for the upcoming Australian adaptation. He is a father-of-three and a respected professional in the tech industry, currently working in Data Centre Management for Woolworths Group. With decades of experience in his field, he has held senior roles at major companies like Macquarie Bank and the NSW Port Authority. Sam ruled the red carpet in a cream gown with graduating tones of beige, pale pink and grey in the sheer overlay that sat over the gown's skirting But while his career has flourished, sources close to Daily Mail Australia revealed his personal journey has been marked by tragedy as Barry is widowed. 'Bear is always complaining that his boys are saying that he is bringing around the wrong kind of girls that are just too young and hot for him,' one friend revealed. 'We were always saying that he needs to be put on a show like MAFS, so seeing him up for the Bachelor role is no surprise.' Despite his corporate background, Barry is far from your typical office-bound executive. A passionate sailor, he has competed in high-profile races like the Sydney to Hobart. Unlike The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, which feature young men and women, The Golden Bachelor is targeted at a more mature audience eager to watch how those who have already experienced great love and loss are chasing companionship in their next chapter. 'Bear is not your usual reality TV type,' an insider told Daily Mail Australia. 'He's charming, intelligent and has really lived a full life. He's been through love, loss and now he's ready to open his heart again. Women are going to adore him.'
