World Games: China win 2 more gold medals through freedivers to extend lead at top of table
China claimed two more gold medals at the World Games in Chengdu on Monday, with two of the country's freedivers helping to extend their country's lead at the top of the medal table.

Huang Jingqiu came first in the women's dynamic without fins (FFS1-FFS2) event, after she swam 149.5 metres underwater, followed by Maria Carolina Rodriguez Angarita of Colombia in second with a distance of 124.5m. Third was Colombia's Marta Pozzi, with 116m.
In the men's dynamic with fins (FFS1-FFS2) event, China's Long Dengxi grabbed gold with a distance of 181.5m, while Frenchman Alexandre Boscari was second with 165m. Third went to Casper Marti-Beckmann of Denmark, who completed 156.5m.
Long had also won the men's dynamic without fins (FFS1-FFS2) event on Sunday.
FFS1-FFS2 is a classification for para freedivers with an impairment. Athletes in these events have a specific level of physical disability and compete in a combined category against others with similar impairments.

In free-diving at the World Games, athletes push themselves to swim underwater for as far as they can in a 50m pool without coming up for breath.
