Hingert starred in several projects, including the Academy Award-winning musical The King and I, before landing her first credited role in the 1957 sitcom The Adventures of Hiram the name Jana Davi, she also appeared in Westerns like The Rawhide Trail and Gunmen from Laredo before retiring in the early 1960s.
