Beloved vintage shop announces closure, saying it's ‘impossible' to keep trading
A popular Cork vintage shop has announced its closure after the cost of 'simply opening our doors' nearly doubled over the last few years, making it 'impossible' for them to keep trading. Nine Crows is located on 14b French Church Street in Cork city centre, and is set to close their doors in the coming two weeks. The beloved company has two other branches in Dublin — one in Temple Bar and Loot on Drury Street. Both remain open. Pic: Nine Crows Cork/ Instagram Announcing their closure, owner Emma said the team were 'gutted' to confirm that the next two weeks would be the last for Nine Crows Cork. She said: 'We've had such an amazing few years in Cork and are so grateful for all of the love and support we got from this amazing city during that time. We are really proud of our Cork team and the community they built around our shop from day one, the stories of chance encounters and friends made through our shop mean so much to us. Our wonderful team down there have made this decision even harder to make. Emma paid tribute to the stores 'incredibly kind landlord' but noted that 'changing shopping habits towards cheap online alternatives, dropping tourist numbers, mass emigration, rental, rates and tax systems' are set up against small businesses. She said: 'We've been in business for almost 15 years now and though the economy is apparently booming, things have never been harder. Every business owner we know tells the same story of a system that doesn't seem to care about the independent sector and isn't concerned by its decline.' She added that 'if something doesn't change soon there will be very few of us left.' Social media users took to the comments to express their upset, with one writing: 'This is devastating you guys are so awesome,' while another added: 'Ah this sucks so much, I have a few bits from ye that I absolutely adore.' Elsewhere, a café in Kerry is has shut their doors after eight years in business. Dlicious in Milltown closed earlier in the month, with owner José taking to Facebook explaining that they 'tried everything in our hands to keep opening but it is looking like an impossible mission.' He said: 'At this stage, I can only say thanks to everyone because you made possible the dream of a Spanish man lost in Kerry, which I call proudly home.' Well wishes poured in via the comments section with one person requesting 'please let us know where you will be next and we will follow you.'

Mimoh Chakraborty claims parents Mithun Chakraborty, Yogeeta Bali were ‘insulted and abused' by Bollywood
Mimoh Chakraborty, son of actors Mithun Chakraborty and Yogeeta Bali, has opened up about facing harsh criticism in a new interview and also claimed that top actors from the industry have insulted his family. (Also read: Mimoh Chakraborty 'didn't leave the house for a year' after debut film flopped: 'Phone stopped ringing, cheques bounced') In a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Mimoh said, "The meanest things were like they were making fun of my mom. I would understand for my dad, yes, carrying his legacy. Mere zariye, they were insulting dad, because you cannot pinpoint and say ki Mithun Chakraborty isme kharab tha. (They were insulting my father through me because they knew they can't say that Mithun was wrong in this). It's because his legacy is so strong, toh unko laga chalo Mimoh ke through humlog Mithun Chakraborty ko bhi gaali de denge (They thought 'let's abuse Mithun Chakraborty through Mimoh')." The 40-year-old actor added that there were many people in the industry who insulted his family. "Forget normal people, audience, it was people from the industry jo khule aam jaake mom ka mazaak uda rahe the. (People from the industry were joking about my mother) And it became a little too much for me. Ki yaar mere tak thik hai, dad tak thik hai, but mom pe mat jaao, (it is fine with me, it is fine with dad, but don't target my mother.) You know. But then I know we all go through this," Mimoh said. Mimoh made his debut in 2008 with Jimmy directed by Raj N Sippy, which also starred Vivana Singh and Rahul Dev. The film was panned by critics and audiences and holds a rating of 1.7/10 on IMDb. After that, he was seen in couple of Hindi and Bengali films like Haunted 3D, Loot, Rocky and some shorts like Holy Smoke! and Ab Mujhe Udhnaa hai. The actor's latest is Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, a thriller series created by Neeraj Pandey and directed by Debatma Mondal and Tushar Kanti Ray. The series has an ensemble cast led by Prosenjit Chatterjee and includes Jeet, Saswata Chatterjee, Ritwik Bhowmik, Chitrangada Singh, and Aadil Zafar Khan and Parambrata Chatterjee. It released on Netflix on March 20.

Joel Kim Booster is giving the people what they want. Just last week, the handsome actor had fans going wild over his cheeky poolside pics during the first weekend of Coachella. With Pride season around the corner, Booster's followers can expect to see the Loot star showing plenty of skin in the coming months. "I do it for you! Credit to Patrick Church, he knows what he's doing. He knows how to cut those Speedos. Right now, gathering together and standing together as a community is more important than ever," Booster tells PRIDE. See on Instagram Besides posting sexy photos online, Booster is always keeping himself busy with a plethora of exciting projects. The talented star is now adding 'TV host' to his résumé by presenting the brand new Real Housewives spin-off Bravo's Love Hotel. Booster is helping four iconic Bravolebrities including Shannon Beador, Ashley Darby, Gizelle Bryant, and Luann de Lesseps find love at a luxurious resort. "I was really excited, but really nervous. I've never done reality TV before. These women raised me! It was like flying directly into the surface of the sun. It was really fun!" Although Booster and Beador got along while filming the new show, some drama happened behind the scenes once cameras went down. Booster posted a rant on social media, which included quite a few harsh words for Beador that left many Bravo fans shocked. "Neither Shannon nor I are interested in relitigating any of this again. I'm going to be a distant memory for Shannon Beador. I'm a small fish for Shannon Beador. We'll be able to coexist. It hasn't dimmed my enjoyment of watching the show, so I hope it doesn't for anybody else either." Bravo's Love Hotel premieres this Sunday.
