Update: Date: 12:47 BST Title: Who is new Burnley signing Loum Tchaouna? Content: OK, so Burnley have paid a reported £12.9m fee and handed a five-year contract to France Under-21 winger Loum Tchaouna, so what will he bring to the club? Well, he has already played 130 games across Serie A in Italy and Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 in his native France. The wide man made his senior debut for boyhood club Rennes aged just 17, playing his first game against Bordeaux in September 2021. He went on to play a season on loan at Dijon before joining Serie A side Salernitana in 2023, where he scored six goals and registered four assists in 35 games. Lazio signed him last summer and Tchaouna scored his first goal for the Italian giants in October against Como, finishing last season with 37 appearances in all competitions. He has also scored one goal in nine appearances for France U21s, helping them reach the semi-finals of this summer's European Championships. Update: Date: 12:37 BST Title: Tchaouna deal worth 15m euros - reports Content: While Burnley have not disclosed the fee for 21-year-old winger Loum Tchaouna, Lazio president Claudio Lotito is reported to have told Italian newspaper Il Messaggero that the deal was worth 15m euros (£12.9m). Update: Date: 12:34 BST Title: New signing Tchaouna on speaking with Burnley boss Parker Content: Burnley 'It's a very proud day for me to sign for this special club," new signing Loum Tchaouna told the Burnley website, after sealing his move from Lazio following a busy summer playing for France Under-21s at the European Championships. 'I spoke with the manager [Scott Parker] during the Euros this summer and we had a really good conversation, which made me realise I wanted to be here. "I can't wait to get ready for the upcoming season and to play in front of the supporters." Update: Date: 12:30 BST Title: Post Content: Craig NelsonBBC Sport reporter For the record, Loum Tchaouna follows Max Weiss, Quilindschy Hartman and Axel Tuanzebe as new names through the door at Burnley this summer, while Bashir Humphreys, Marcus Edwards, Jaidon Anthony and Zian Flemming all made previous loan moves permanent. Update: Date: 12:21 BST Title: Tchaouna is Burnley's EIGHTH summer signing Content: Burnley Loum Tchaouna will not, at least, feel out of place as the new boy at Burnley. The French U21s winger is the Clarets' EIGHTH new signing since they booked their return to the Premier League with a second-placed finish in last season's Championship. Here is a list of his fellow new arrivals: Update: Date: 12:16 BST Title: Burnley sign France U21s winger Tchaouna from Lazio Content: Craig NelsonBBC Sport reporter Sorry, just waylaid by one of Burnley's all-time classic signing videos. More on that in a minute. First, the news that the Clarets have bagged France Under-21s winger Loum Tchaouna from Lazio for an undisclosed fee. The 21-year-old arrives at Turf Moor on a five-year deal. More to follow. Update: Date: 12:08 BST Title: Semenyo contract a boost for Bournemouth Content: Tom McCoyBBC Sport journalist Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo was linked with Tottenham, Manchester United and Liverpool this summer but has committed his future to the club, signing a new contract which runs until 2030. The Cherries have already lost Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerkez to Real Madrid and Liverpool respectively but have at least held on to Semenyo, who was one of the Premier League's most dynamic players in 2024-25. The 25-year-old was amongst the league's leading performers in several key attacking metrics, impressing with his direct style of play. Only Mohamed Salah and Cole Palmer attempted more shots than Semenyo, while his total of 69 successful dribbles was also the third highest total in the top flight. His confidence to shoot with either foot makes him particularly hard to handle for opposition defenders and equally comfortable on both flanks. Excluding headers, 54% of his shots last term were left-footed, five of them resulting in goals, while 46% came off his right boot, including six goals. Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola demands aggressive pressing from his attacking players, something Semenyo embraces wholeheartedly, contesting more duels and committing more fouls than any other Premier League player in the most recent campaign. There is room for improvement when it comes to his end product. He registered just five assists in 2024-25, while his shot conversion rate of 8.8% was also slightly below par. If he can improve on those aspects of his game, elite clubs are likely to coming calling again sooner rather than later. By rebuffing it LFC are telling Diaz to put in a transfer request. He does that and LFC hold all the cards - he's got 2 years left, we don't have to sell him, Bayern have to make us an offer we can't refuse. Rob Update: Date: 11:58 BST Title: 'Tete cements status as Fulham fans' favourite' Content: Noel SlineyBBC Sport Kenny Tete will likely have cemented his status as a fans' favourite at Fulham after turning down Everton in favour of signing a new three-year deal. Tete, 29, has spent five seasons already with Fulham, scoring four goals and providing 10 assists in 121 appearances. He has endeared himself with his tenacious defending and overlapping runs, attributes which are highlighted by the fact he ranked fifth among defenders with at least 15 starts in the Premier League last season for most tackles won (1.9 per 90 mins) and also for most shots (1.2 per 90). Update: Date: 11:54 BST Title: Post Content: Craig NelsonBBC Sport reporter Right, let's return to some of our top stories. Update: Date: 11:50 BST Title: Bayern on the hunt Content: Mental note - it seems the cat is out of the bag, Bayern Munich are in the market for an attacking wide player and their attention is firmly focused on the Premier League. That is judging by those stories linking them with Liverpool's Luis Diaz and Manchester United's Marcus Rashford. Remember, Bayern have lost Germany winger Leroy Sane to Galatasaray on a free transfer this summer, while French forward Mathys Tel signed for Tottenham in June. He made his first senior appearances that summer during 'Project Restart', before loan spells with Blackburn and PSV Eindhoven, where he won the Dutch Cup under Ruud van Nistelrooy. Branthwaite established himself in the Toffees first team at the start of the 2023-24 season. He formed a solid centre-back partnership with James Tarkowski, with the Toffees having the fourth-best defensive record in each of the past two Premier League seasons. The 23-year-old was named Players' Player of the Season in 2023-24 and has been voted Young Player of the Season by the fans in each of the past two campaigns. The defender was part of the England team that won the 2023 European Under-21 Championship. He was included in the provisional 33-man England squad for Euro 2024 and made his senior debut as a substitute against Bosnia and Herzegovina, but was left out of Gareth Southgate's final squad. Update: Date: 11:20 BST Title: Get Involved - 'Branthwaite may still be planning on leaving Everton' Content: WhatsApp 03301231826, text 81111 (UK only, standard rates apply) Branthwaite may still be planning on leaving Everton in a couple of years if they don't progress like we (Evertonians) hope, but at least by signing a long contract, he's ensuring the club who have invested in him will receive a significant fee for him. If only some other players had done the same. David, Liverpool We can see what you did here, David. Another broadside, this time presumably aimed at Liverpool and Trent Alexander-Arnold - although you were careful not to name names. Update: Date: 11:16 BST Title: Post Content: Craig NelsonBBC Sport reporter Danny chancing his arm there with a hidden dig [at Chelsea], a la Nolberto, our first contributor of the morning, who took aim at Manchester United. The general point is a fair one, though. Does the Premier League attract more young talent from the top five leagues than it loses to them? Update: Date: 11:12 BST Title: Get Involved Content: WhatsApp 03301231826, text 81111 (UK only, standard rates apply) Danny: Matt @10:46, you've named four young English players there. Just think how many young Spanish and German players move to the Premier League, it doesn't make La Liga or the Bundesliga any weaker. Besides, these European clubs need to replace all their youngsters when Chelsea sign them all! Update: Date: 11:05 BST Title: Will new deal end Branthwaite transfer interest? Content: Jarrad Branthwaite's new contract should end speculation about a summer departure - Tottenham were the most recent club to be linked with the centre-back. Manchester United had two bids worth £35m and £45m plus add-ons rejected by the Toffees last summer. The Red Devils eventually switched targets and signed Bayern Munich's Matthijs de Ligt instead for an initial £38.5m plus £4.3m in add-ons. Update: Date: 10:54 BST Title: Branthwaite deal huge statement for Everton Content: Phil McNultyBBC Sport chief football writer Everton will have to do plenty of deals in the remainder of the transfer window with so many players leaving at the end of their contracts and the squad in urgent need of improvement. Jarrad Brainthwaite's decision to sign a new long-term deal will. however, rank alongside any business as the most significant of the summer. The 23-year-old central defender has been outstanding in the last two seasons and the prospect of Branthwaite leaving was a hot topic of discussion among Everton fans. The fact that he has agreed to stay is a major statement of intent by the club and also a reflection on the ambition of new owners, The Friedkin Group, who want to demonstrate this is a new era of ambition for Everton as they prepare to move into their new state-of-the-art stadium next season. Update: Date: 10:51 BST Title: Post Content: Craig NelsonBBC Sport reporter But Matt, and crucially for Everton supporters, Jarrad Branthwaite is staying put in Merseyside...
