Jennifer Lopez makes 'last-minute' fashion choices
Jennifer Lopez will make "last-minute decisions" about her outfits for the American Music Awards. The 55-year-old star is set to host the awards show on Monday (26.05.25), but Jennifer has struggled to settle on what she'll wear for the occasion. The chart-topping singer - who has won three American Music Awards in her career - told People: "We started doing our fittings just yesterday and there's so many things to choose from. "I don't know what's going to wind up on the show ... it'll be a lot of last-minute decisions, I think." Jennifer fashion choices are often dictated by her mood. The 'Jenny from the Block' hitmaker explained: "I work with my stylist and we kind of kick around ideas like, 'What do we want it to be for the performance and what do we want it to be for the hosting and what's our vibe?' "We feel it out because I think it does change. For me, my feelings change from month to month, like, 'Who do I want to be today?' because I feel like there's so many different sides to who I am fashion-wise." Meanwhile, Jennifer recently revealed that she feels "proud" of her career. The singer reflected on her career arc ahead of hosting the American Music Awards. She told People: "Everything feels like I just did it. "I remember the moments. I remember getting dressed for them. I remember things people said when we were walking to the stage afterwards. "So it's all these amazing core memories of my life that when you look back on them … I don't know that I get emotional, but I definitely get like, 'Wow.' Happy. I've been doing this and I'm proud of that." Jennifer recently sat down to watch some of her old performances, and she was struck by how much she's developed as an artist. The singer is relishing the challenge of hosting the American Music Awards, too. The 'Love Don't Cost a Thing' hitmaker said: "We were just looking at it to see the progression of the stuff that we've done. "I don't know, it's just a very important part of my musical career and life."

Why is Jennifer Lopez Being Sued By Photographer? Learn About Singer's New Legal Troubles With Golden Globes Twist
Jennifer Lopez has earned the headline for yet another time, as the singer has found herself in legal trouble over what she posted on her social media handle. The musician is being sued for allegedly sharing paparazzi photos of herself, as she had not secured proper copyright licenses, per Blast. According to the report, the legal trouble revolved around the picture taken before the 2025 Golden Globe Awards. Lopez allegedly shared the photos on her Instagram and X accounts. The publication noted that photographer Edwin Blanco and photo agency BackGrid USA filed two federal lawsuits against the songstress on Saturday, May 17. It is claimed that they co-owned the singer's images standing outside the Amazon MGM Studios x Vanity Fair Party at Los Angeles' Bar Marmont on January 4, which was the night before the prestigious award show. According to Blanco and BackGrid's lawyer, Peter Perkowski, the Love Don't Cost a Thing vocalist shared the pictures the next day, January 5, on her Instagram and X accounts without permission. This alleged breach of copyright resulted in her fans' pages and fashion brands reposting the pics, per the publication. It was reportedly revealed by the attorney that BackGrid and Blanco had contacted Lopez 's team the week after the alleged posting of the images to talk about this matter. According to the report, the talk went well, and both sides verbally agreed to a financial settlement. But the singer's side did not finalize the agreement in writing or make any cash transactions. This lawsuit could result in Lopez paying up to USD 150,000 in damages per image, and if the lawsuit is successful, then she will have to pay USD 300,000 per outlet. The lawsuit reportedly mentioned that the singer has been subject to similar claims in the past. Back in 2019, she was sued for sharing a paparazzi picture of herself and her then-partner, Alex Rodriguez. The case was also handled by Perkowski, and it concluded in voluntary dismissal in 2020, per the publication.

Jennifer Lopez needed facial stitches due to AMAs rehearsal injuries
Love might not cost a thing but performing sure does. Jennifer Lopez hurt herself during rehearsals for the American Music Awards she's hosting later this month and took to social media to show off her injuries, which required stitches. The 'Love Don't Cost a Thing' singer, 55, shared multiple pictures of the aftermath on her Instagram stories late Tuesday. 'So this happened…' the Bronx-born star captioned a selfie in which she presses an ice pack against her right eye. '(During @amas rehearsals),' Lopez captioned a subsequent selfie, highlighting a cut on her nose and her bruised eyes. In a third photo, Lopez, looking dolled up, posed beside facial plastic surgeon Dr. Jason B. Diamond, who she thanked for 'stitching me up.' She added: 'A week later and a whole lotta ice, I'm good as new.' It's unclear what part of the show Lopez was rehearsing when she injured herself and what particular injuries she sustained. The multi-hyphenate will host and perform during the AMAs in Las Vegas on Memorial Day on May 26, airing on CBS and Paramount+ at 8 p.m. ET. Recent days have also brought new developments in the Lopez-Ben Affleck divorce saga. The exes, who have spent the better part of a year trying to sell their Beverly Hills marital mansion, last week slashed the price from $68 million to just under $60 million, reportedly at Affleck's urging. ___ © 2025 New York Daily News.
