Love Island fans furious at producers' 'evil plan' to secure win for one couple
Love Island fans believe they've uncovered the producers' game plan this season - bringing back dumped Islanders in a bid to influence who takes home the win Love Island viewers suspect that ITV producers have came up with a secret plan to determine who will win this year's series. With the ITV2 dating show's finale fast approaching, fans are speculating that the producers might be orchestrating events to ensure Meg Moore walks away with the £50,000 prize - alongside the divisive Dejon Noel-Williams. One fan took to X, formally Twitter, writing: "Megan is going to couple up with Connor, Shakira gets dumped. Yasmin leaves Jamie for Blu. The terrible trio make the final along with Toni. Meg and Dejon win Love Island UK 2025. Cue Jess Glynn song, everyone jumps in the pool. F*** you producers!" Another viewer condemned the theory as a "truly evil" twist. A third fan quipped: "So wait all that hating on twitter meant nothing? Lol cry," while another pleaded: "We won't allow this to happy please we can't allow this to happen." One fan went as far as to call it the "biggest betrayal" of the season so far, noting that viewers have already endured "a lot" of drama so far this year, the Mirror reports. One viewer declared they would 'never' watch the show again if things played out that way, while another simply said: "Oh I really hope that isn't the case." Dejon has proven to be one of the more controversial contestants this season. The Islander has had several different fiery arguments with other contestants and with him and Meg having hit multiple rough patches after Dejon's decision to flirt with Andrada, Malisha and Caprice - moves that left Meg feeling 'violated'. One viewer wrote on social media: "Dejon is one of the worst islanders to enter this villa. The gaslighting, the manipulation, the deflection, the lack of accountability and the bullying. It's been hard to watch," while another had issues with Harry's behaviour, writing: "Harry giving googly eyes to Angel in front of Helena is so disrespectful. What is wrong with these men?' While venting their frustration at both, a third fan stated: "Harry's the devil you know, Dejon is the devil you don't." Earlier in the week, Megan Forte Clarke made a surprise return to the villa after a loophole was found in the show's terms and conditions. She re-entered alongside Blu, who had previously been dumped by his fellow Islanders. Fans were outraged upon discovering a clause in ITV's rules allowing producers to bring back a contestant regardless of the public vote. The clause that reads: "The producers of the Programme may in their discretion reintroduce an Islander seen in earlier stages of the competition who was previously evicted. The Programme producers' decision will be final." When the clause began circulating on social media, furious viewers demanded action - with some insisting that the government-approved broadcasting regulator should be informed. Another viewer suggested it could mark the downfall of the show, commenting: "Once they start doing it, it's the beginning of the end of the format. Nobody will care who is dumped if they just choose to bring them back." However, another user noted that this isn't the first time something like this has occurred, referencing the 2017 season when Mike Thalassitis and Sam Gowland made unexpected returns - a twist that notably left contestant Olivia Attwood stunned. Defending the voting clause, one viewer argued: "Love island barely has a strict format as it is, I don't know what people expect here." Another clause explains to viewers that any new sort of voting format can be introduced at any time, insisting: "Throughout the Programme, the Promoter reserves the right to introduce any other votes in a format which will be announced in the Programme including but not limited to a vote by the public for islanders they would like to see coupled up, as indicated in the Programme, the app and/or website. " Just ahead of her return, Megan expressed her joy, saying: "I'm excited to go back in, I think I left quite abruptly and I'm going back in for some clarity. It was an easy decision to make. When you can't speak to people for a couple of weeks and have to watch them on telly every night, you want some answers."

Love Island fans work out producers' 'evil' plan to make one couple win
Love Island viewers think they have worked out that producers have come up with a plan to decide who will win this year's series even though they have not had the best reception from the public. Love Island viewers think they have worked out that producers have come up with a plan to decide who will win this year's series. The ITV2 dating reality show is just days away from its grand finale and now fans think that bosses will twist things round so that Meg Moore can £50,000 along with the controversial Dejon Noel-Williams. One viewer wrote on X: "Megan is going to couple up with Connor, Shakira gets dumped. Yasmin leaves Jamie for Blu. The terrible trio make the final along with Toni. Meg and Dejon win Love Island UK 2025. Cue Jess Glynn song, everyone jumps in the pool. F*** you producers!" whilst another sharply objected to such an 'evil' plot. A third viewer joked: "So wait all that hating on twitter meant nothing? Lol cry," whilst another vowed: "We won't allow this to happy please we can't allow this to happen." Another viewer claimed that would be the "biggest betrayal" of this year so far, and pointed out that there had already been "a lot" to deal with so far. Another fan claimed that they would 'never' watch the series again if things turned out that way, and another simply wrote: "Oh I really hope that isn't the case." Dejon has not been the most well-received contestant this year, and last night had a heated row with Billykiss before she was dumped from the Island. The couple also once found themselves on the rocks thanks to Dejon's decision to flirt with Andrada, Malisha, and Caprice, leaving Meg feeling 'violated' in the process. One viewer wrote on X: "Dejon is one of the worst islanders to enter this villa. The gaslighting, the manipulation, the deflection, the lack of accountability and the bullying. Also in this series, Megan Forte Clarke made a shock return to the Island came as a result of a loophole that was discovered in the programme's terms and conditions. She was reintroduced alongside Blu, who had been dumped by his fellow Islanders. Viewers were outraged to discover a clause in ITV's terms and conditions for the dating show which claimed that producers will be able to bring back a Islander despite the vote. The clause that reads: "The producers of the Programme may in their discretion reintroduce an Islander seen in earlier stages of the competition who was previously evicted. The Programme producers' decision will be final. " And when the clause surfaced on social media, angry viewers weighed in with as they claimed that the government-approved regulatory and competition authority for broadcasting must be informed. Another claimed it could spell the end of the progamme, as they said: "Once they start doing it, it's the beginning of the end of the format. Nobody will care who is dumped if they just choose to bring them back." However, another user pointed out that this is not the first time that any of this has happened, as they referenced the fact that Mike Thalassitis and Sam Gowland made a similar sort of comeback in 2017, which, at the time, left then-contestant Olivia Attwood in particular in shock. But in appearing to justify the decision behind the voting clauses, one user said: "Love island barely has a strict format as it is, I don't know what people expect here. Another clause explains to viewers that any new sort of voting format can be introduced at any time, insisting: "Throughout the Programme, the Promoter reserves the right to introduce any other votes in a format which will be announced in the Programme including but not limited to a vote by the public for islanders they would like to see coupled up, as indicated in the Programme, the app and/or website. " Just ahead of her return, Megan expressed her anticipation, saying: "I'm excited to go back in, I think I left quite abruptly and I'm going back in for some clarity. It was an easy decision to make. When you can't speak to people for a couple of weeks and have to watch them on telly every night, you want some answers."

When Is the 'Love Island UK' 2025 Final? Everything You Need to Know
If Love Island USA was simply not enough for you, there's some good news. Love Island UK is still actively airing, and it's all heating up in that villa. Casa Amor has come and gone, leading to a many new couples (10 to be precise), movie night has turned things upside down (as per usual), and there's been so many recouplings, triangles and head turns, we've lost count. All of this has had us thinking that it must soon be time for the final when one couple will be crowned this year's winners and take home a £50,000 cash prize. So, when exactly is the Love Island 2025 final? Here's everything you need to know. It's looking like the Love Island UK 2025 final will take place on Monday, August 4 in the UK. As of yet there's been no official word from ITV about when the final will take place, but based on previous years we can make an educated guess. Since 2017, most of the series have lasted eight weeks. As season 12 kicked off on Monday, June 9, that would take us right up to Monday, August 4—that's if they don't surprise us and add on another week or two! After all, it's the 10th anniversary so you never know... We'll update you right here once we have a confirmed date. This is the real question. Typically, Love Island UK episodes hit Hulu on a three day delay. So if an episode airs on Monday in the UK, it usually hits Hulu on Thursday. So if the predictions are right and the final airs on August 4 in the UK, it'll air on August 7, Thursday, in the US. SUBSCRIBE TO HULU As with previous years, the final will be broadcast ~live~ in the UK ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm. The final normally features the remaining four couples competing for the winning title as well as the £50,000 prize money. Taking place in the Mallorcan villa, Maya Jama hosts the evening and the public votes for their top couples. Unfortunately, because the US audience will watch the finale on a delay, they won't be able to vote for the winning couple. I guess we'll have to leave it to the Brits!
