First images from Fallout season 2 tease New Vegas
The second season of Prime Video's Fallout is coming this December and the marketing machine is just starting to ramp up. The streamer has released some light plot details and, more importantly, several cool images. Two of these photos reference the franchise's iconic New Vegas location, which was teased at the end of the first season. Prime Video says that season two will take "audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas." However, we still don't know if the show's depiction will be franchise accurate. The released images show Cooper Howard (Walton Goggins) touring the actual Las Vegas in the before times, long before becoming the Ghoul. (Prime Video) However, one picture does show the Lucky 38 casino, which is extremely important to fans of the games. The remaining images catch up with other major players from season one. There's one of Lucy (Ella Purnell) butting heads with the Ghoul and another showing Maximus (Aaron Moten) back with the Brotherhood of Steel after the events of the season finale. He's back at the Brotherhood. (Prime Video) We don't have a trailer yet, but that should be coming soon. December is just a few months away. The Fallout TV show has proven to be a huge hit, both with fans and critics. Prime Video has already renewed it for a third season.

Prime Video drops first look at 'Fallout' season 2 — and teases a major new setting I can't wait for
After months of anticipation since confirming its December premiere, Prime Video's blockbuster adaptation 'Fallout' is finally giving fans a first glimpse of season 2, with the official teaser potentially dropping during Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 19. Another shows him standing alongside his wife, Barb (Frances Turner), in what appears to be a lively bar scene. These images may capture a moment early in the post-apocalyptic timeline, showing Cooper and Barb together before New Vegas fully descends into chaos. Both fit perfectly with the chaotic, neon-lit atmosphere of the New Vegas Strip. To the left, you can see high-voltage power line towers (also called electrical transmission towers), a nice detail that highlights the remnants of pre-war infrastructure still standing in the wasteland. The rest of the New Vegas Strip is shrouded in fog, making it harder to make out details. But you can still expect to see other iconic landmarks like the Ultra-Luxe and Vault 21 Hotel. In fact, if you really zoom in on the background, you might even spot a few rough edges of the hotel's cog-like sign. Of course, more obvious references include the huge New Vegas sign, and the characters themselves joining forces when entering this dangerous environment. It's a simple but effective poster, to say the least. The new season is expected to explore how Vault-Tec's dark secrets continue to ripple through the wasteland, as Lucy hunts down her father, Hank (Kyle MacLachlan), while facing new threats, including deadly creatures like Deathclaws and dangerous raider factions. Macaulay Culkin has also joined 'Fallout' season 2 in a recurring role as a 'crazy genius-type character,' though specific details about his character remain under wraps. Clearly, there's a lot to be excited about, and as Goggins told Complex, 'real magic' is about to happen. 'Fallout' season 2 will land on Prime Video sometime in December 2025.
