Love Island star ‘gives away' she's signed up for All Stars after split from boyfriend and abuse accusations
LOVE Island beauty Belle Hassan has dropped a major hint she's signed up for All Stars following her split from her rugby player ex-boyfriend. Belle split from Scotland international Luke Crosbie, 28, in February and claimed she was the victim of emotional abuse. 4 In a Q&A with fans on Instagram last night, she revealed she can't say much for "legal reasons" but insisted she's never been so happy to be single. Having 'rediscovered' herself, Belle appeared to confirm a return to Love Island in the New Year. When a fan asked if she was doing All Stars, she replied with a selfie and a large side eye emoji suggesting wheels are in motion behind the scenes. Earlier this year, the makeup artist, 27, told fans she'd experienced six weeks of alleged emotional abuse that left her feeling at an all time low. A source told The Sun at the time: " Belle is no longer with Luke. "She's back in London while she processes everything that has happened recently and is focusing on her wellbeing after the split." When a fan asked how she was, Belle wrote: "I'm probably at the lowest point I've been in my life and I genuinely don't know how to pull myself out. "I can't even pull myself out of bed, and have been like this for about 6 weeks, when I tell you emotional abuse is no joke I mean it! "I wouldn't wish what has been done to me on my worst enemy. "For the first time in my life I've been faced with a situation I have no idea how to deal with and I know usually it's me on here giving all the advice but I don't wanna sit here and lie and say I know I'll be fine because this time I'm not sure if I will be. "I can promise I am trying my best to get better but this one's gna be a process." The pair became an item late in 2023 just as Belle, who previously dated Anton Danyluk, was asked to sign up for Love Island All Stars. She called Luke a "gift from the universe" and said: 'He ticks every checklist I have, he's completely my type to a T, personality, looks everything." Londoner Belle relocated to Edinburgh to live with the sports star and opened a beauty salon in the city. Luke previously praised Belle for supporting his career and shared details of winning her hardman actor dad Tamer's approval. He told us: 'She's starting to realise how sore you are after the games! 'She's got a big job keeping me fed but she's doing a good job so far. 4 4 4 'She loves rugby now and her dad loves it as well, and her mum, so they're big supporters. 'I get along well with her dad. He's a tough man, like! 'One of the first times I met him he wanted to make sure I could protect his daughter so it turned into a little sparring match at Christmas. I passed the test! 'You wouldn't hear the end of that if I'd knocked him out!"

Edinburgh's title at gathering of Inclusive rugby clans
Local inclusive rugby club, Edinburgh's Inclusive rugby team have been crowned champions at the fourth Scottish Building Society Inclusive Festival. For the first time, the celebration of inclusive rugby was held at Hive Stadium, Edinburgh, welcoming teams from across Scotland, including Borders Clan, Strathmore Clan and Ayrshire Clan. The festival followed a round-robin format, allowing each team to play against each other and with the teams using the same facilities as the full-time team, they each got a taste of what it would be like to be a professional rugby player. Inclusive rugby brings together both able-bodied players and individuals with physical or learning disabilities, playing side-by-side as unified teams. The multi-gender format promotes teamwork and inclusivity and proudly demonstrates that rugby is a sport for all. The tournament was established by Scottish Building Society and Edinburgh Rugby to spotlight grassroots rugby and highlight the exceptional work being done by inclusive teams across the country. Following the day's matches, players and coaches were joined by Edinburgh Rugby stars Luke Crosbie and Harry Paterson, who hosted a lively Queston and Answer session, sharing insights and encouragement with participants. During the recent sell-out Edinburgh Rugby v Ulster fixture, the victorious Edinburgh Rugby Inclusive Team, were invited to take a lap of honour around the pitch. Paul Denton, Chief Executive of Scottish Building Society, presented the winning trophy to the team in front of an enthusiastic crowd. Brian Smith, coach of Edinburgh Rugby Inclusive, said: 'It's never lost on everyone here how much the support of Edinburgh Rugby and Scottish Building Society benefits us. This is the first time the tournament has been held in the Hive, seeing how much it means to all the teams to play on the same pitch as they watch the pro team play on is brilliant, it means the world to them.' Paul Denton said: 'It was my pleasure to present Edinburgh Rugby Inclusive Team with their trophy; you can really see how much it means to the players and their families. The event is a brilliant way for players from teams across Scotland to come together and showcase their talents in a safe and positive environment, with many friendships being made along the way.' Edinburgh 17-22 Zebre: What Everitt said
Edinburgh coach Sean Everitt told Premier Sports: "They put us under pressure, it's not something that we didn't prepare for. We lost the physicality battle, especially at the breakdown. "If you look at the stats, we had 150 rucks to their 60-odd. They managed to put us under pressure there. We couldn't play, so credit to them - the passion they showed and the physicality they showed. They scored a good maul try against us and we take pride in our maul."It didn't happen this evening so back to the drawing board for Edinburgh."Something you can't measure is passion. There were a lot of guys who tried hard out there. Luke Crosbie was outstanding tonight. We'll have to go back and have a look at it."It's a contact sport and if you don't win the contact, you're always going to be on the back-foot and we lost momentum there."The Munster game becomes important. We're not dead in this competition, everyone is alive, but we need to pick ourselves up on Monday, work harder and start winning away from home."We had enough time to prepare. Everyone is in the same position. The Italians also play in the Six Nations. We have to look at ourselves."

'Boffelli return a real fillip as URC resumes'
This is an Edinburgh column but it's been written in the wake of Sunday's Scotland game, so you'll understand my frustration if I mention that Ireland are an excellent team and would still be even if they played within the rules well as being a good team they somehow manage to get inside the Scottish psyche before a man in a green shirt is offside or a deliberate knock-on actually is rugby this weekend as the United Rugby Championship resumes and Edinburgh take on Zebre Parma on Friday night. It's a pretty big game for the capital side. Only five points separate sixth from 12th and Edinburgh are currently sitting in eighth at the heart of that a game Edinburgh should win as our record against Zebre is very good. We have played them 19 times and only lost four. But, and it's the usual but, when it comes to Edinburgh, we can confound even the smartest betting add to the jeopardy it's hard to see what team we will be able to put far as Scotland releases go, none of the following have played any part in the opening two games of the Six Nations and could be made available - Luke Crosbie, Matt Currie, Patrick Harrison, D'Arcy Rae, and Marshall Muncaster is good to go and there is exciting news that Emiliano Boffelli is fit, which is a real should be good enough to continue a winning streak against Zebre that goes back to 2018, just so long as we approach it on the basis that they have only won one less game in their campaign than we have and react Smith can be found at The Burgh Watch, external
