The Americans lost the tournament finale 6-2 to Canada and ended 1-6 on the week, with only a split squad victory over Finland on the opening day to their credit. final determination may come down to how he does as a freshman at the University of Wisconsin in the fall. First-rounder Konsta Helenius (Finland) did not take part in the tournament, but is a shoo-in to make their roster, as is 2025 top pick Radim Mrtka for Czechia.
