Trinny Woodall unleashes her inner cowgirl as she undergoes Western makeover with lookalike daughter Lyla Elichaoff during ghost town visit

Trinny Woodall unleashed her inner cowgirl as she underwent a Western makeover in Colorado on Tuesday. The beauty entrepreneur, 61, was joined by her lookalike daughter Lyla Elichaoff, 21, as they set off to explore Dunton Hot Springs, a 19th-century ghost town. Wearing a cowboy hat for the family trip, Trinny showed off her new look in a video which she shared to her Instagram. Unveiling her new look, she wore a blue chequered dress with a plunging neckline and puff sleeves. The TV personality teamed it with a pair of suede cowboy boots and some statement turquoise jewellery. 'There's nothing like a Western dress-up in the right surroundings and using what you've got,' she said. Trinny continued: 'So no judgement please yesterday we went for a glorious ride high up the mountain- so beautiful - huge vistas - untouched - streams, meadows and riding through the whispering Aspens - not a tree as I thought but a plant all connected underground…. 'So magical - making memories with family and friends feels the soul.' It comes after Trinny revealed how she struggles with losing weight too easily in a candid Instagram video. The TV personality wore a sparkly silver gym top and light grey skimpy bottoms as she lifted the lid on the secrets behind 'feeling healthy' in her 60s. She focussed on the importance of getting the right amount of protein, as well as the shock of losing 4kg after suffering from an illness, in a clip which also featured her personal trainer Nathalie Hayward. The businesswoman said that her 'shrivelled' bottom made her feel like an 'old elephant' rather than a 'strong bull'. In a detailed caption, she explained how she had been looking to take in more protein lately. She said: 'I'm not one to talk about weight because for me it's about strength and definitely the maintenance of protein as you go down the path of life.' Trinny continued: 'But today I am I have always had a high metabolism and I have always been what some people might define as thin - What I don't love is when I lose weight especially after being ill and I can lose it quickly- what I notice is the change in my body. 'Muscle needs daily protein and muscle keeps my bones protected - it gives structure to my skin and it gives me physical and mental strength. It is harder as you get older to maintain muscle mass, but it is so important. 'I am now doubling up my protein, Natalie and I are going to go on a mission to really help strength and muscle in the right place to support different parts of my body., and hopefully to lift my slightly elephant bottom… there is a vanity matrix here though. 'I don't want to be in a bikini with a saggy a**e. I'm just going admit that one. But most importantly when i get sick and lose weight it makes me feel so so vulnerable to not being strong in myself and how when I am physically strong it gives me such a mental strength. She added: 'Ask yourself are you taking enough protein every day? You should really take double the kilos that you weigh especially as you reach menopause and beyond... Sometimes that's really challenging. 'I generally start with a three egg omelette and I'm going to start incorporating a protein shake midmorning with some collagen. (I will share on stories which ones I'm using.) 'Lunch is going to be chicken and salad and the evening is going to be some fish and if I'm out for dinner, whatever is on the menu. At the beginning of the year I was really good at getting over 100 g a day into my diet but in the last few weeks I think I've been doing maximum about 60 or 80…. 'If you're reading this and thinking I don't know how to start my body feeling healthy and strong I have found great knowledge from @nathalie_hayward for what kind of supplementation to take and strength training - from Victoria @victoriawoodhall for giving myself space and time to understand the practice of yoga and how it can help me -@hubermanlab, the @glucosegoddess'
