Five Labor MPs back Harbour Bridge protest despite premier's objection
Five Labor MPs have joined a group of 15 NSW parliamentarians vowing to attend the pro-Palestine protest planned at the Sydney Harbour Bridge on Sunday, defying objections by NSW Premier Chris Minns.
The MPs – including Labor's Lynda Voltz, Stephen Lawrence, Sarah Kaine, Cameron Murphy and Anthony D'Adam – issued a statement on Friday ahead of a bid by NSW Police to have the protest deemed unauthorised.
