30 medical camps scheduled till December under Nalam Kakkum Stalin scheme in Dharmapuri
Around 30 medical services camps will be organised across blocks up to December 2025 under the Nalam Kakkum Stalin scheme in the district. Three camps will be conducted in each of the 10 blocks from August, said Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare M.R.K Paneerselvam. He was speaking on the sidelines of the medical camp conducted at the Government Higher Secondary School in Nallampalli on Saturday (August 2, 2025).
The medical camps began here post Chief Minister M.K. Stalin's inauguration via video conference.
These camps will screen people for all types of diseases and will provide 17 types of specialised medical treatments. Chief Minister's comprehensive medical insurance card and disability certificate for the differently-abled will also be issued. ABHA card (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) will be created for all persons coming to the camps for screening, according to the Minister.
The camps are equipped with doctors with experience and expertise in the treatment. Mr. Paneerselvam also handed over CMCIS cards to five beneficiaries in the camp.
