Cwmbran beautician in running for national beauty award

Danielle Scott, 26, who runs Diversity Beauty Studio from her home in Oakfield, Cwmbran, has been named a finalist in the Best Brows category at the UK Hair and Beauty Awards 2025. Ms Scott said: "I'm so proud to be representing Cwmbran in the grand final. "Brows are such a big part of how people feel about themselves, and I love helping clients feel more confident in their natural beauty." Her salon, known for its inclusive and friendly approach, has built a strong reputation for brow treatments including lamination, tinting, shaping, and airbrush finishes. She also praised her partner for supporting her throughout her career. Ms Scott said: "My partner Joshua James has supported me every step of the way—he's been patient, encouraging, and always pushing me to believe in myself. "He tells everyone how proud he is, even if I don't win, and that means everything to me." She also thanked those who helped her start her business. Ms Scott said: "I want to say a massive thank you to my MAC-Ed Training teachers, Emma and Kaylie, for guiding me through the process, and to anyone who got a treatment from me while I was still training—especially those first few brave clients. "I wouldn't be where I am without you all." Diversity Beauty Studio offers silent appointments, LGBTQIA+ friendly services, and personalised care for every client. The winners of the UK Hair and Beauty Awards will be announced at the 2025 Grand Final. To follow Ms Scott's journey or book an appointment, visit @diversitybeautystudio on Facebook or Instagram.
