'It was streamed by an account with the name on 'FaythD'.' The video was played to the court and Davidson — who observed proceedings by video link from HMP Perth — could be seen raising his hand to his mouth to stifle smiles and laughter. In the clip, Davidson recites a long rambling monologue in which he stated: 'This building is a work of art.' He can then be seen removed a hi-vis jacket and placing it at the court's entrance before pouring fuel over it then lighting it. The court heard the building suffered damage to its front doors. Lady Haldane deferred sentence until next month.
