Kesha Launches New Platform "Smash" for Music Creators

Yara Sameh Kesha has launched "Smash", a new community platform where music creators connect, collaborate and hire each other and retain rights to whatever they create. 'My goal is to shift the power structure of the music making business in favor of the creators,' Kesha said. 'I signed a predatory deal when I was 18 and then spent more than a decade fighting to regain rights to my voice and image. When I finally gained my freedom I realized the fight wasn't over. I want to make sure what happened to me never happens to anyone else again." Smash was co-founded by CEO Kesha Sebert, CTO Alan Cannistraro and COO Lagan Sebert alongside a team of music industry and tech veterans. Its core mission aims to give creators access to the professional community they need to make music without the need to fight for ownership over what they create. To celebrate the announcement of Smash, Kesha is inviting creators to take part in an exclusive remix challenge for her acclaimed new single, 'Boy Crazy.' The participants signing up to the official Smash email list at will receive stems for 'Boy Crazy,' and then have a week to rework it. The best remix will then be personally selected by Kesha and officially released on Kesha Records later this summer. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Egypt confirms denial of airspace access to US B-52 bombers News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content Arts & Culture Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's $4.7M LA Home Burglarized Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Sports Neymar Announced for Brazil's Preliminary List for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Arts & Culture New Archaeological Discovery from 26th Dynasty Uncovered in Karnak Temple Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies

Kid Cudi to Testify in Sean 'Diddy' Combs Trial

Yara Sameh Federal prosecutors have called rapper and actor Kid Cudi is set to testify in Sean 'Diddy' Combs' sex-trafficking and racketeering trial in New York this week. Prosecutor Maurene Comey announced Tuesday that the rapper, who had a brief romantic relationship over a decade ago with Combs' ex- partner Cassie Ventura, is expected to take the stand on Wednesday or Thursday. Ventura testified last week at the trial that Combs learned she was dating Kid Cudi while going through her phone messages at one of the 'freak-off' events the couple would have at various hotels. Combs, Ventura said in her testimony, threatened to blow up Cudi's car in early 2012. She also testified that Combs threatened to release two explicit tapes featuring her and that the rap mogul would send an individual to harm both of them. After Ventura first filed her 2023 civil lawsuit, which also included the allegations about Cudi's car, a rep for the rapper confirmed that a vehicle of his had exploded, but provided no more details. 'This is all true,' the rep told the outlet. Cudi will testify after George Kaplan, a former employee who Ventura testified had quit after witnessing Combs' abuse. 'I feared for my career. I feared for my family. It's just embarrassing, all of it,' Ventura said while testifying last week. 'It could ruin everything I worked for.' read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Egypt confirms denial of airspace access to US B-52 bombers News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content Arts & Culture Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's $4.7M LA Home Burglarized Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Sports Neymar Announced for Brazil's Preliminary List for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Arts & Culture New Archaeological Discovery from 26th Dynasty Uncovered in Karnak Temple Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies

'The Irrational' 3rd Season Canceled

Rana Atef NBC has decided not to renew "The Irrational" for a third season after the show failed to attract enough viewers and fans. According to a report published by Deadline, the cancellation isn't entirely surprising. After a promising first season, viewership for the crime series starring Jesse L. Martin declined significantly during its second season. The television landscape was quite different across the two seasons. The Irrational debuted in fall 2023 during a time when there was a shortage of original scripted content on broadcast networks due to the writers' strike. The show took advantage of the weak competition and a strong premiere episode to achieve a solid start on NBC and Peacock. The series premiere attracted 12.1 million viewers across all NBC platforms within the first 15 days of its release. By late November, the show had been renewed for a second season. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Egypt confirms denial of airspace access to US B-52 bombers Lifestyle Pistachio and Raspberry Cheesecake Domes Recipe News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content Arts & Culture Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's $4.7M LA Home Burglarized Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Sports Neymar Announced for Brazil's Preliminary List for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Arts & Culture New Archaeological Discovery from 26th Dynasty Uncovered in Karnak Temple Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War
