New Delhi: All eyes are set on the Mecca of fashion - Met Gala 2025 were who's who of the entertainment industry globally would make heads turn. Making his Met debut this year, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is likely to shine at the red carpet. Adding more power to the buzz, ace fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee has dropped a major hint at the superstar's red-carpet outfit at the iconic fashion event. SRK x SABYASACHI AT MET GALA 2025 On Monday morning, Sabyasachi took to Instagram Stories and posted two messages: "KING KHAN." Doubling the tease in his next story, the ace designer wrote, "KING KHAN BENGAL TIGER"--alongside his label's logo featuring a royal Bengal tiger. For those unaware, the Bengal tiger, often linked with strength and royalty, is also a part of Sabyasachi's brand identity. Meanwhile, SRK arrived in New York on Sunday ahead of the famed fashion event. Although the actor's participation in the Met Gala 2025 has not yet been officially confirmed, all signs point to his attendance at this year's event. MET GALA 2025 THEME The Met Gala 2025 is scheduled to be held on May 5 at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The event's theme, 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,' will explore the relationship between fashion and Black culture. The theme is tied to an upcoming exhibit at the Met Museum of the same name. Notably, the co-chairs for this year's gala include a dynamic mix of individuals from various creative industries, including singer and fashion designer Pharrell Williams, actor Colman Domingo, rapper A\$AP Rocky, and British racecar driver Lewis Hamilton.

Lady Gaga had four outfit changes on the MET stairs, and it was red-carpet worthy. Lady Gaga entered wearing a voluminous, vibrant, pin gown designed by Brandon Maxwell, and as she progressed up the stairs ditched the items of her body one piece at a time. Lady Gaga's bold performance added drama to the MET theme, which was Camp: Notes on Fashion. The CAT-astrophic Tribute to Karl Lagerfeld The Met Gala 2023 theme was Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty, and it was a tribute to the fashion designer who passed away in 2019. While celebrities including Alia Bhatt, Dua Lipa, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Kim Kardashian honoured Karl and his legacy through an array of statement pieces, actor Jared Leto and singer Doja Cat decided to pay tribute to Karl's beloved cat, Choupette. The Met Gala 2022 theme was In America: An Anthology of Fashion which focused on Gilded Glamour. Blake graced the stairs in an Atelier Versace gown. Inspired by New York City architecture, the ensemble paid homage to the Grand Central Station and the Statue of Liberty. Blake thought that instead of looking at fashion to influence the dress, she looked through the New York City architecture. Blake's train drew inspiration from the constellation of the Grand Central Station, the fitted dress resonated with the Empire State building and the draping, and the crown was inspired by the Statue of Liberty. JFK's grandson Jack Schlossberg starts feud with his former Vogue boss Anna Wintour over Met Gala
John F. Kennedy 's grandson, Jack Schlossberg, has admitted that he will be 'boycotting' the Met Gala this year. The internet personality has slammed his former boss Anna Wintour 's event in a string of posts on Instagram as he revealed he is launching his own network. Jack, 32, has previously worked as a political correspondent for Vogue magazine and now believes the huge night on fashion should be canceled. He said in a video: "Hey, Anna Wintour. I'm sorry but I'm boycotting the Met Gala this year. I can't go in good conscience with so much happening around the world and at home," as he took aim at the Vogue Editor-in-chief. He continued: "It's just not the time. It's not the time for a party like that. So I'm calling on everybody to boycott the Met Gala. It's not the time." VOGUE shouldn't be so scared of my boycott OF THE MET GALA they should focus on issues and use their platform to take a stand. "Corporate interests often succeed in making fashion less attractive and relevant BOYCOTT." He added: "WILL NOT BE ATTENDING THE MET GALA THIS YEAR It's not the time for that: instead of partying, I'll be focused on launching my new live channel."
